Rare Disease HIT Solutions Account Director

Pfizer

• Lead the RD HIT strategic approach and customer engagement with identified leading health systems in defined region • Help customers optimize clinical workflow using EHR technologies • Provide strategic support and guidance for leveraging e-platforms • Understand and assess Health IT strategies and resources • Serve as liaison across BUs for Health IT-related issues • Attend Health IT conferences and Pfizer Health IT summits • Flexible for up to 35% travel

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required
  • EHR certifications or advanced degree in a Health IT/Informatics related field required
  • Significant experience in the functional and technical application of health information technology
  • Experience in the functional and technical application of health information technology required across in-patient and ambulatory settings
  • Clinical integration experience across the care continuum
  • An understanding of the Health IT landscape
  • Hands-on experience with top EHR products preferred (e.g., Epic, Allscripts, eClinicalWorks, Cerner, etc.)
  • An understanding of the impact of healthcare reform initiatives on the healthcare environment
  • Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills required
