Job Description

Google Ads Manager

Ruby Labs

Role Description We're a fast-growing consumer AI company giving millions of users access to the world's leading AI models — chat, image, and video generation — under one subscription. We run one of the biggest Google Ads accounts in the world, alongside a major Microsoft Ads (Bing) presence, across 40+ countries and 30+ languages. We work AI-first: our campaigns are researched, built, and optimized with the help of AI agents (Claude), directed by a human expert. We're looking for that expert. You'll own the performance of our Google Ads account end to end — structure, keywords, ads, bids, compliance, and growth — using Claude as your daily co-pilot for research, audits, and campaign work. Key Responsibilities - Scaling: Grow profitable spend across countries, products, and devices; find untapped markets and launch them; manage budgets and targets against real revenue and payback goals. - Keyword research: Build and maintain large-scale keyword systems; discover new opportunities, validate demand, organize keywords into clean clusters (brand vs. generic AI searches), and ensure every new AI model release is covered from day one. - Ad strength & copy: Keep ad quality high across the whole account; ads that mirror what people actually search, strong Ad Strength scores, and quality localization in 30+ languages. - Campaign structure: Design and maintain a clean, scalable account; well-themed ad groups, sensible country tiers, no dead or duplicated inventory, and consistent naming across a very large campaign portfolio. - Compliance: Solid working knowledge of Google Ads policies; trademark rules, misleading-claims policy, and how to prevent — and if needed, appeal — account-level restrictions like Limited Ad Serving. - Bid management: Set and continuously adjust CPA/ROAS targets based on real revenue data per country, device, and campaign — not gut feeling. - Working with AI: Use Claude and AI workflows daily to research keywords, generate and review ad copy, audit the account, and automate the repetitive parts of the job. - Monitoring & reporting: Track performance the right way; spot problems early, and quickly figure out the root cause when numbers move. Qualifications - 5+ years managing large, international Google Ads search accounts. - Claude expert — you know Anthropic's models and products well, use them daily, and understand the AI tools market as a practitioner, not just an advertiser. - Strong AI skills — comfortable working with AI assistants and agent-based workflows; you see AI as a force multiplier, not a threat. - Very solid understanding of Google compliance — trademark policy, ad review, and account-level enforcement, including recovery from restrictions. - Data-driven decision maker — comfortable with revenue metrics, CPA/ROAS economics, and payback thinking. - Structured, high-agency operator: proposes with evidence, moves fast, executes carefully, documents everything. Nice to have - Microsoft Ads (Bing) experience. - Managing Google Ads for AI products. - Subscription / consumer product acquisition background. - Basic technical skills (spreadsheet power user, some SQL or scripting). Location Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours. Benefits - Remote Work Environment: Embrace the freedom to work from anywhere, anytime, promoting a healthy work-life balance. - Unlimited PTO: Enjoy unlimited paid time off to recharge and prioritize your well-being, without counting days. - Paid National Holidays: Celebrate and relax on national holidays with paid time off to unwind and recharge. - Company-provided MacBook: Experience seamless productivity with top-notch Apple MacBooks provided to all employees who need them. - Flexible Independent Contractor Agreement: Unlock the benefits of flexibility, autonomy, and entrepreneurial opportunities. Benefit from tax advantages, networking opportunities, reduced employment obligations, and the freedom to work from anywhere. Interview Process After submitting your application, we conduct a thorough review which typically takes 3 to 5 days, but may occasionally take longer due to the volume of applications received. If we see a potential fit, we proceed with the following steps: - Recruiter Screening (40 minutes) - Technical Interview (60 minutes) - Final Interview (30 minutes) Life at Ruby Labs At Ruby Labs, we move fast, aim high, and expect the same from our team. We’re not here to play small—we’re here to build, grow, and win. That means we look for people who are ambitious, driven, and ready to give their best every single day. This is a place for individuals who thrive under pressure, embrace challenges, and see opportunity in every obstacle. If you’re hungry to achieve, motivated by impact, and want to grow at the speed of your own ambition, Ruby Labs offers the platform to make it happen. Here, effort is matched with reward. We recognize those who go all in and deliver results, and we create space for people who want more—more responsibility, more growth, and more success.
