Credit Modeling Manager

ASAAS

• Design and evolve credit approval, limit, and behavior models that will define the risk of the customer base • Define credit policies and rules that translate models into operational decisions • Independently extract and preprocess complex datasets • Continuously monitor portfolio performance, identifying degradation, opportunities, and necessary model adjustments • Work with Asaas's proprietary transactional data and external bureau data as modeling inputs • Build the modeling function, defining and implementing processes, methodology, rituals, and managing a team

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in quantitative credit
  • Deep technical expertise in building and validating risk models (Score, PD, LGD) and defining cut-off strategies
  • Experience building credit models from scratch
  • Proficiency with data manipulation, modeling, and credit data analysis tools (Python, R, SQL)
  • Ability to translate model outputs/scores into credit policies that are viable and profitable for the business
  • Experience managing teams
