Role Description As our Global Payments Alliances Manager (US/UE/LATAM), you will own the strategy and execution of our most critical partnerships across payment rails, banking partners, USD ramps, and cross-border infrastructure, with a focus on the US and EU ecosystem, while operating across LATAM corridors. This role is highly cross-functional and execution-driven: - Lead RFPs, negotiate commercial terms and SLAs, drive partner integrations, and ensure measurable impact on cost, reliability, scalability, and growth. - Work closely with Product, Engineering, Ops, Treasury, Compliance, Fraud, Legal, and senior leadership. - Operate like a builder: strong judgment, clear prioritization, and high ownership. Requirements - Own strategic partnerships end-to-end: - Identify, evaluate, and close strategic providers that strengthen Bitso’s global payments stack (US/EU/LATAM). - Develop long-term partner roadmaps aligned with Bitso’s strategic priorities. - Lead commercial negotiations and SLAs: - Negotiate pricing, fee structures, rebates, incentives, and volume tiers. - Secure operational SLAs (settlement times, success rates, uptime, support) and establish escalation paths. - Run RFPs and vendor selection: - Own the end-to-end RFP lifecycle: requirements, scorecards, diligence, selection, and decision memos. - Drive structured vendor comparisons across cost, risk, scalability, compliance, and integration complexity. - Coordinate with Procurement and internal stakeholders to ensure fast, high-quality decision making. - Drive execution across Product, Engineering, and Ops: - Work with Product/Engineering to define integration scope, sequencing, and launch readiness. - Partner with Ops teams to ensure smooth day-to-day performance, incident response, and continuous improvement. - Improve unit economics and operational efficiency: - Own key initiatives that improve cost to move money, time to settle, and reliability. - Build and monitor performance dashboards and KPIs to ensure partnerships deliver results (not just contracts). - Represent Bitso externally: - Serve as a senior representative of Bitso in partner conversations, industry events, and strategic forums. Benefits - Me Time program, including unlimited paid time off. - Remote-first work environment. - Employee Stock Option program. - Zero trading fees through our Bitso Alpha app. - Extended Family Leave Policy: all birthing parents, non-birthing parents, and adopting parents are eligible for a 4-month leave. - Premium health, dental, and life insurances in Mexico, Gibraltar, Colombia, USA, Brazil, and Argentina.
