Associate Staff Engineer, ERP-Dynamics-Functional (Finance Modules)

Role Description We're looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant to lead end-to-end implementation projects and provide functional support. - Lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance implementation projects, including discovery, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. - Conduct business requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution workshops with business stakeholders. - Configure and support Dynamics 365 Finance modules, with primary expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL). - Support additional Finance modules, including Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, Asset Leasing, Asset Management, and Project Accounting. - Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), business process flows, solution documentation, test scripts, and user training materials. - Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. - Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), support production deployments, and provide post-implementation hypercare. - Provide Level 2/Level 3 functional support, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure timely resolution within SLA commitments. - Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and recommend long-term process or configuration improvements. - Evaluate Microsoft Dynamics 365 release updates, service updates, and hotfixes, ensuring minimal business impact. - Manage support activities using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or ServiceNow. - Maintain functional documentation, knowledge articles, and support runbooks. - Mentor junior consultants and contribute to project governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Requirements - Total experience 4+ years. - Strong experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or Dynamics AX 2012. - Strong functional expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL) modules. - Experience with one or more additional Finance modules, including Asset Leasing, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, Asset Management, or Project Accounting. - Proven experience delivering full lifecycle ERP implementation projects and Application Management Services (AMS). - Strong understanding of finance business processes, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P). - Experience conducting business workshops, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and functional testing. - Ability to create Functional Design Documents (FDDs), business process documentation, and solution specifications. - Experience managing production support, incident resolution, change requests, and release management activities. - Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLA-driven support environments. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant (MB-310) certification is preferred. - Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) is an added advantage.
