• Lead the design and architecture of complex, large-scale cloud services that form the backbone of our multi-cloud and hybrid data management platform. • Develop and implement core components, tackling challenges in areas like data governance, security, and distributed systems. • Drive technical innovation by prototyping and evaluating new technologies, cloud-native solutions to solve complex customer problems. • Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team. • Collaborate with product managers, and other engineering teams to design solutions and architecture to deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient solutions.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to provide contracting expertise to negotiate requisite agreements for new and follow-on business. • Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and global legal standards with respect to hybrid deployment anywhere cloud software, data privacy, and commercial licensing requirements. • Prepare contract paperwork, advise management and internal stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations, and mitigate contractual risks. • Balance competing priorities of constituencies as compared to business needs and use astute judgment as to when to escalate. • Compile and analyze contract-related data while maintaining accurate historical contract information. • Build rapport with internal clients (including the sales, deal desk, and revenue teams) and leverage these relationships to facilitate closing sales contracts efficiently while minimizing risk.

• Develop and execute pricing policies as well as strategies that align with business objectives, market conditions, and competitive dynamics • Ensure pricing strategies are accurately implemented in our systems and pricing engines • Utilize SQL and Tableau to analyze pricing data, customer behavior, and market trends to make informed pricing decisions • Oversee the integration of pricing strategies into the Salesforce CRM, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for sales teams including training/education • Continuously monitor and optimize pricing structures to maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to gather insights and align pricing strategies with the overall business goals • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track pricing performance, KPIs, and recommendations for improvement based on data as well as periodic review with key stakeholders across sales, finance and GTM teams

• Create and deliver customer-centric solution designs, proposed architectures and business outcomes to all levels – developers, architects, CTO, and CIO. • Work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Services, Support, Training, and Engineering to share Cloudera’s Vision with customers. • Advise customers on use case patterns through discovery and requirements workshops. • Transform customer feedback into actionable product roadmap items. • Work with teammates and management to define technical selling strategy. • Participate within the Cloudera community, share evangelism activities (blogs, meetups, industry events), and contribute to internal and external knowledge repositories.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the HR service desk, providing L1 support and triage for all incoming Workday inquiries and issues. • Research and resolve end-user problems or system errors, escalating complex technical issues to L2 or L3 resources as necessary. • Assist in the maintenance of Workday business processes and configuration for core HCM and functional modules. • Provide direct training and assistance to end users (employees and managers) to ensure system adoption and data integrity. • Collaborate with HR functions (Benefits, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, etc.) to address routine data requests and basic process improvements. • Support the semi-annual Workday update process by assisting with the testing of new features and identifying potential impacts on current workflows. • Maintain and update test scripts and scenarios to ensure successful deployments during project cycles or system updates. • Assist with user security audits and basic role assignments to ensure appropriate system access across the organization. • Execute routine data uploads (EIBs) and maintain data quality through regular audits and cleanup activities. • Participate as a project team member on larger Workday initiatives, handling assigned administrative and configuration tasks.

• Architect, deploy, and provide senior-level operational support for our on-premise and cloud-based Linux infrastructure and core IT services (e.g., virtualization, baremetal, storage, DNS), ensuring high availability and reliability. • Develop, maintain, and champion our Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation frameworks using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Foreman/MaaS to manage and deploy platform services. • Implement and automate system-level security best practices, including patching, hardening, and configuration management, ensuring compliance and resilience from the ground up. • Build and automate deployment pipelines for IT infrastructure services (e.g., system images, configuration, platform services) using tools like GitHub/Git, Ansible, and scripting tools. • Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), working with IT Systems, CloudOps, Security, and Engineering teams to design and implement robust, scalable, and optimal solutions. • Participate in a shared on-call rotation to support mission-critical IT services (with clear documentation and runbooks provided). • Create and maintain accurate documentation for automation, operational audits, and compliance. • Design, implement, and administer enterprise storage platforms, including Dell PowerStore and Pure Storage arrays, ensuring capacity, performance, data protection, and high availability for critical workloads. • Mentor junior team members.

• Manage partners with Level 1 and/or Level 2 obligations to ensure our end customer’s experience meets Cloudera’s standards of excellence • Ensure partners are enabled to provide support via training, tooling, best practices, etc. • Regularly review the partner support deliverables for Cloudera’s partner ecosystem • Monitor Service Level Agreements and other key performance indicators (KPI) • Drive regular weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting of partner support performance on contractual obligations and KPIs • Run quality checks to ensure that partner support cases are handled with a high technical aptitude commensurate with defined L1/L2/L3 contractual obligations • Coordinate, communicate, and lead cross-functional efforts around escalations and engineering needs for the partner ecosystem • Contribute to partner support contract improvements as driven by Cloudera’s support benchmarks • Set standards for engagement between partner support and Cloudera • Set standards for engagement and act as a liaison between the partner’s support organization and Cloudera support • Perform data analysis and present the results to Sr. Leadership across multiple business units • Drive ongoing strategic interlock to ensure alignment on short-term and long-term priorities and measurable business outcomes
