About the Role As Director of Marketing for Mexico, you will lead Shark Ninja's marketing strategy and execution and contribute to shaping our approach to Mexican in the US and around the world. Based in Mexico, you'll act as both a commercial driver and cultural ambassador, ensuring Shark Ninja resonates with diverse regional audiences while supporting our global growth strategy. This highly visible role requires a balance of strategic thinking, compelling storytelling, local expertise, commercial rigor, and team leadership to build brand connections and deliver measurable growth. Responsibilities Leadership & Strategic Planning• Champion the Mexican consumer perspective with regional and global marketing leadership, advocating for regional nuances in consumer behavior, retail dynamics, and media consumption.• Lead localization of Global Shark Ninja Marketing strategy, aligned with SharkNinja's global priorities and brand standards.• Provide advisory input into US and European marketing strategies that target Latin consumer segments.• Escalate to global stakeholders what is required for Shark Ninja to win in Mexico. Go-to-Market Excellence• Own GTM planning for Mexico, including product positioning, partnerships, launch strategy, pricing, media, and retail readiness.• Localize global campaigns while ensuring cultural relevance and business impact.• Partner with multifunctional teams to drive category expansion, retail activation, and trade marketing strategies across key accounts. Team Leadership & Collaboration• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Marketing team in Mexico, who are responsible for the GTM execution of Shark Ninja's global marketing strategy in their specific markets.• Foster strong cross-functional partnerships across Product Marketing, Media, Creative, Sales, and Regional Distributors to achieve Outrageously Extraordinary growth.• Liaise with local agencies and partners to drive executional excellence in media, PR, and in-store experiences. Consumer, Category & Brand Stewardship• Champion a consumer-first mindset, elevating local insights to inform brand strategy and innovation roadmaps.• Monitor performance KPIs, optimize marketing investments, and drive continuous improvement across markets.• Ensure Shark Ninja's portfolio is positioned for long-term relevance and growth in the region, act as advocate. Integrated 360° Channel Marketing• Oversee integrated 360° marketing planning across all owned, earned, and paid channels -consistent brand messaging and sequenced consumer journeys across every touchpoint.• Lead the Amazon Mexico and Mercado Libre marketing strategy, including A+ content, LP-page content, and storefront optimization to maximize visibility and conversion at the digital shelf.• Coordinate go-to-market activation across e-commerce, modern trade, and traditional retail, ensuring channel-specific messaging, promotional cadence, and media support are aligned to commercial objectives and retail sell-through targets.• Recommend channel investment hierarchy and sequencing logic, setting priorities based on category maturity, consumer behavior data, and incremental ROAS by platform. Analytics, Performance & Commercial Correlation• Establish and maintain correlation models between marketing investment and point-of-sale (POS) performance, enabling evidence-based budget reallocation and strong credibility with commercial leadership.• Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly Marketing performance reviews with multifunctional teams, translating marketing data into revenue impact statements and actionable investment decisions - not just reporting, but driving decisions.• Monitor competitive share of voice, search trends, and category velocity to identify whitespace and anticipate demand shifts before they appear in sell-out data. Budget Management & Investment Allocation• Own marketing budget, including annual budget planning, quarterly re-forecasting, and month-end accruals - in close partnership with Finance and regional commercial leadership.• Allocate and reallocate spend dynamically across channels and campaigns based on ROAS performance, seasonality, and commercial priorities - with zero tolerance for budget waste in underperforming placements.• Manage agency retainers and production costs with financial discipline - ensuring all investment is tracked, reconciled against commitments, and tied to measurable business outcomes.• Report marketing efficiency metrics - including cost per acquisition, media efficiency ratio, and share of voice vs. share of market - to regional leadership on a defined cadence, with clear recommendations for the next investment cycle. Qualifications• 7+ years of marketing experience at a multinational beauty or personal care company, with at least 3 years in a regional or functional marketing role in Mexico.• Deep understanding of Mexican culture, consumer preferences, and retail environments.• Experience influencing global organizations and adapting global playbooks to regional realities.• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team development capabilities.• Fluent in Spanish and English.• Willingness to travel to HQ as needed.• Proven experience managing 360° digital marketing across platforms including Amazon, Mercado Libre, TikTok, Meta, and Google - with demonstrable ROAS improvement and channel-level attribution capability.• Strong analytical capabilities with hands-on experience in performance dashboards, attribution modeling, and marketing-to-POS correlation analysis; comfort with tools such as Circana, Google Analytics, and retail media platforms.
