Job Description

Sales Engineer, FP

Victaulic

• Responsible for sales and promotion of Company FP product range in the region. • Report on weekly basis to the Sales Director on activities and marketing information & achieve the budgeted sale and results. • Promote the Victaulic System for binding application products. • Field demonstrate the proper installation of the Victaulic FP product & tool range. • Pursue and obtain the acceptance and specification of the Victaulic System by Owners and Engineering Consulting companies. • Ensure that the proper knowledge of the Victaulic FP products and system is present in the region, through usage of adequate means such as: seminars, training, technical literature, and technical support. • Liaise with the local Victaulic distributor, and ensure the proper information flow is available and maintained. • Visit job sites and follow up of installation process of the Victaulic FP System by the contractor. • Train the contractor's personnel in usage and installation of the Victaulic FP system if required. • Handle product claims in cooperation with Victaulic Corporate Engineering department. • Provides assistance to finance personnel in collecting receivables on customers. • Co-ordinate with other sales colleagues in the territory.

Job Requirements

  • University / College degree, preferably as a mechanical engineer, or demonstrate equivalent.
  • Technical knowledge acquired through experience (minimum 5 years).
  • Familiarity with the piping business - or show the ability to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Commercial feeling and ambition with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Result-driven - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing challenges.
  • Willing to travel as required (up to 75%).
  • Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
  • Can communicate fluently in local language and English.
  • Knowledge of any other language is an asset.

Role Description Hancock Software is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Implementation team and serve as a primary technical resource throughout the client lifecycle. In this hands-on role, you will guide customers through preparation, planning, configuration, validation, and deployment of the Hancock Cloud energy efficiency software platform. You will collaborate closely with Technical Support, Product Management, Engineering, and the Executive team to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients across the country. Another key aspect of this role is client and software support; you will provide service-level application support to assist our support team in the diagnosis and debugging of software and configuration-related issues. Experience in energy efficiency retrofits or utility efficiency programs is a plus. Specific Responsibilities - Act as the primary implementation resource during the onboarding and go-live phases of the client lifecycle. - Actively support and diagnose technical issues in conjunction with support and customer success resources. - Clearly define, identify, and document customer business and technical requirements and objectives. - Create user documentation, training materials, and operating procedures. - Participate in project calls with customers, serving as a subject matter expert on company solutions. - Coordinate and track tasks assigned to both internal and external project team members. - Execute project tasks including scripting, data imports, configuration, testing, and knowledge transfer. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications for report development or product enhancements. - Build strong customer relationships to facilitate requirements gathering and solution validation. - Contribute to the development of implementation guidelines and process improvement initiatives. - Work across time zones with nationwide clients and with global team members across the US, India, and China.
