Sales Engineer

UiPath

• Act as a strategic advisor to prospects, customers, and the UiPath salesforce around our technology solutions. • Uncover the value that Automation and AI can bring to existing business processes. • Design new processes using UiPath platform capabilities. • Help secure the technical win and identify high value uses of our technology within our customer base. • Collaborate with and orchestrate necessary resources throughout the customer lifecycle. • Evangelize the value that Automation brings to businesses. • Be a thought leader on best ways to advance the UiPath platform. • Develop marketplace offerings and industry specific solution accelerators. • Understand industry challenges and the opportunities it creates for businesses. • Partner with sales team to define account strategy. • Build and deliver industry specific demos and proof of value (PoV) for prospects and customers. • Conduct process discovery sessions to understand current workflows and quantify potential automation opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in a customer-facing or strategic consulting role.
  • Experience in business transformation coupled with AI or RPA technical expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of technical landscapes and the ability to architect complex solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience of simplifying and communicating complex concepts to a technical and business audience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Lean Principles and Continuous Process Improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to empathize with co-workers and customers.
  • Curiosity to learn and master your craft.
  • Coachable and willing to learn to adapt to a changing environment.
  • A background in consulting, sales engineering, or running automation programs
  • Requires up to 25% travel

In this hands-on role, you will guide customers through preparation, planning, configuration, validation, and deployment of the Hancock Cloud energy efficiency software platform. You will collaborate closely with Technical Support, Product Management, Engineering, and the Executive team to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients across the country. Another key aspect of this role is client and software support; you will provide service-level application support to assist our support team in the diagnosis and debugging of software and configuration-related issues. Experience in energy efficiency retrofits or utility efficiency programs is a plus. Specific Responsibilities - Act as the primary implementation resource during the onboarding and go-live phases of the client lifecycle. - Actively support and diagnose technical issues in conjunction with support and customer success resources. - Clearly define, identify, and document customer business and technical requirements and objectives. - Create user documentation, training materials, and operating procedures. - Participate in project calls with customers, serving as a subject matter expert on company solutions. - Coordinate and track tasks assigned to both internal and external project team members. - Execute project tasks including scripting, data imports, configuration, testing, and knowledge transfer. - Translate business requirements into technical specifications for report development or product enhancements. - Build strong customer relationships to facilitate requirements gathering and solution validation. - Contribute to the development of implementation guidelines and process improvement initiatives. - Work across time zones with nationwide clients and with global team members across the US, India, and China.
