Senior Systems Engineer, Salesforce DevOps

• Execute and evolve the Salesforce DevOps roadmap, aligning with enterprise engineering and business goals. • Champion automation across build, test, and release processes to improve velocity and reliability. • Lead the group’s support for Salesforce triannual releases, integrating routine compliance and maintenance cadences. • Own the release lifecycle for Salesforce applications, including sandbox management, version control, and deployment coordination. • Collaborate with and coach development teams to ensure smooth, error-free deployments and rollback strategies. • Troubleshoot complex deployment issues and design robust solutions. • Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce CLI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or other automation frameworks. • Integrate DevOps tooling with project management and documentation platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence). • Ensure robust validation processes across environments. • Mentor developers and admins on DevOps principles, tooling, and workflows including source management and deployment automation. • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve deployment issues and improve release outcomes.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development or architecture
- at least 3 years focused on Salesforce
- at least 1 year focused on DevOps or release management
- Proven expertise with Salesforce DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, Flosum, DevOps Center)
- Strong command of Salesforce CLI, SFDX, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong command of Salesforce metadata, packaging, and deployment strategies.
- Experience managing multi-org environments and complex release schedules.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. (desired - not essential)
