DevSecOps Engineer
Tiger Resourcing Group
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on GCP (Google Cloud Platform). Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, with a preference for Terraform. • Build, automate and maintain CI/CD pipelines and tools for different platform, pipelines and applications to achieve deployments and operations automation ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. • Act as subject matter expert for support teams, project team, demand team and integrators to ensure that requirements are understood, documented, and delivered to a high standard. • Deploy and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration for scalable applications utilizing Helm and/or ArgoCD. • Drives improvements in day to day operations and engineering activities of the tools and automation team applying DevOps principles and best practices to improve deployment cycles and system reliability. • Develop functional and sustainable services & applications with clean code.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role with a proven track record of successful projects.
- Technical knowledge of GCP, Linux, and CI/CD pipeline development (Jenkins, GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps) and implementation.
- Infrastructure Automation (IaC): Experience with tools such as Terraform and Ansible for automating cloud infrastructure.
- DevSecOps & SaaS Governance: Secure software development practices and policy-as-code frameworks (e.g., GitHub Advanced Security, shift-left security).
- Advanced experience with Terraform for complex infrastructure setups.
- Proven experience in system administration and service automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Bash; ability to develop complex automation scripts.
- Strong communication Skills, Oral and Written.
- Demonstrated experience developing, deploying, and implementing devops pipelines and tools.
- Proficiency in setting up and managing comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions.
- Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including setting up and managing clusters.
- Demonstrated experience developing system integration and automation capability to improve operational response time and accuracy in diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Monitored clusters, cloud resources, and apps using Prometheus, Datadog, and Elasticsearch.
- Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm)
- Good knowledge of backup/recovery, disaster recovery, vulnerability, and patch management.
