Role Description The Senior Director, License Sales – Enterprise Suite Americas leads sales execution for Rocket’s Enterprise Suite portfolio, operating in highly complex, technically differentiated enterprise environments and partnering closely with technical sales leadership to drive large‑scale, strategic outcomes. The role operates in sales cycles characterized by multi‑product Enterprise Suite solutions, long and complex sales cycles, deep customer dependency on technical credibility and risk mitigation, and close alignment between Sales, Solution Architecture, and Product. This role is responsible for expanding Rocket’s presence in existing accounts and acquiring new customers by executing strategic sales initiatives. The individual partners closely with global sales leadership, product management, marketing, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with Rocket’s go‑to‑market strategy and delivery of revenue objectives. - Define and execute sales processes, operational metrics, and account strategies to achieve revenue goals. - Provide executive oversight and governance for large, complex Enterprise Suite deals, ensuring commercial commitments align with technical realities, product roadmap direction, and long‑term customer success. - Build and maintain executive‑level relationships across both business and technology leadership within key Enterprise Suite customers, including CIOs, CTOs, and senior architects. - Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and other Rocket departments to strengthen competitive positioning and market awareness. - Work with account executives to develop and execute strategies for new territories and high‑value opportunities. - Build and maintain a strong team culture; coach, mentor, and develop team members for current and future roles. - Manage the region as a business with appropriate expense and budget controls; ensure effective use of Rocket’s CRM and sales methodology. - Promote a “can‑do” culture, provide guidance on complex deals, and act as a trusted advisor within the sales organization. Qualifications - Demonstrated experience leading enterprise sales teams in technically complex software environments, with the ability to engage credibly in solution‑level and architecture‑level discussions (without being a hands‑on architect). - 10+ years of proven sales and leadership experience, preferably in enterprise software or technology. - Experience in mainframe environments, developing business requiring significant professional services enablement, working in an ecosystem of GSI partners, hyperscalers etc. - Strong track record in team development and coaching. - Ability to design and implement tactical sales initiatives. - Entrepreneurial capacity. - Excellent relationship‑building skills at senior levels. - Evidence of personal contacts within accounts relevant to this role. - Ability to thrive in a team‑selling environment. - Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred. Requirements - #LI-Remote - Annual salary range for this position is between $166,000.00 - $232,400.00 gross before taxes. - This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the company’s plan.
