Title: Full Stack Developer II Job Description: Job#: 3039968 Duration: 6 month contract w/ potential to extend longer Pay: $105,000-$120,000 Location: Charlotte, NC OR Denver, CO - Hybrid; 4 days onsite, 1 day remote Job Summary We are seeking a Software Engineer II (Full Stack React Developer) to join a small, high-impact development team supporting an internal FinOps platform used by Directors, Vice Presidents, and Senior Vice Presidents across the enterprise. This platform provides cloud cost visibility, compliance reporting, budget and forecasting tools, and resource attribution dashboards that drive executive decision-making. Reporting to the Frontend Development Lead, this engineer will play a key role in building and enhancing React-based user interfaces, developing Node.js/Express services, managing PostgreSQL-backed data integrations, and supporting the evolution of the platform toward AI-driven insights and content delivery. This is a highly visible opportunity where contributions have an immediate impact on business leaders and enterprise operations. Day-to-Day Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain modern React applications using Redux for state management. - Enhance and support executive-facing dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics interfaces. - Build reusable UI components and follow established front-end architecture and coding standards. - Develop and extend Node.js/Express API endpoints to support application functionality. - Consume and transform complex REST API responses, including deeply nested JSON data structures. - Create data visualizations using charting libraries such as Recharts, Chart.js, or D3. - Collaborate with product owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions. - Participate in code reviews, branch management, and merge request processes within a Git-based development workflow. - Support PostgreSQL schema updates, data integrations, and backend enhancements as needed. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the full technology stack. - Contribute to AI-enabled platform initiatives by integrating AI/ML-generated outputs into user-facing interfaces. - Assist with application deployment, testing, and operational support within containerized environments. Required Qualifications - 2+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications with React. - Experience using Redux or similar state management frameworks. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+). - Ability to work effectively within an existing codebase while following established development patterns and best practices. - Experience building dashboards, reporting tools, or analytics-focused web applications. - Experience with one or more charting and data visualization libraries, such as: - Recharts - Chart.js - D3.js - Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs. - Ability to work with complex and nested JSON data structures. - Experience developing or supporting backend services using Node.js and Express.js. - Familiarity with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. - Experience using Git for source control, including branching strategies, merge requests, and code reviews. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile development environment.
