• Design on multiple manager-assigned projects in collaboration with Technical Engineering Leads, Project Management, the Project Engineering Team, high voltage Engineers, and other Subject Matter Experts • Create technical electrical designs and standards for substation projects such as reactor groups, capacitor groups, station service overhauls, power transformer replacements, power circuit breaker replacements, fiber optic cabling, motor operated disconnects • Provide recommendations to the assigned PM, PE, and project team regarding project expectations, approach, schedule, scope, work plans, step plans, deliverables, and goals • Facilitate, assist, and shepherd the project design team members through completion of the project design • Collaborate with other design groups for non-electrical design elements • Complete and facilitate technical design efforts for high voltage (69kV-500kV) substation projects including new greenfield substations, bay additions, bay modifications, transmission line re-terminations, bus replacements and re-routes, and high voltage equipment replacements • Create, revise, enhance and review engineering standards to support substation design and engineering • Facilitate planning, engineering, and design efforts for installation of substation equipment and other electrical systems in company substations

Role Description Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an ICAM Automation Engineer with a Secret security clearance to support KITS and our government customer. The position is remote. The ICAM Automation SME will serve as a technical subject matter expert responsible for hands-on coding, automation development, and the integration of artificial intelligence solutions to modernize and enhance ICAM systems and infrastructure. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field from an accredited college or university. - 7+ years of experience in Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) engineering, development, or architecture. - 3+ years of hands-on software development or scripting experience across multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Java). - Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting ICAM modernization or upgrade efforts in a government or enterprise environment. Requirements - Exceptional communication skills in English – both written and oral – with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Proficiency in hands-on software development and automation scripting across multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, or Java). - Deep knowledge of ICAM frameworks, standards, and best practices including NIST SP 800-63, FICAM, and Zero Trust Architecture principles. - Experience leveraging AI/ML tools and techniques to improve identity and access management processes, including anomaly detection, behavioral analytics, or adaptive access control. - Experience designing and implementing automation pipelines to support ICAM deployments, upgrades, and operational tasks. - Knowledge of identity protocols and standards including SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SCIM, and LDAP. - Experience with identity providers (IdPs) and access management platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, SailPoint, or similar. - Experience with directory services including Microsoft Active Directory and/or LDAP-based directories. - Strong understanding of multi-factor authentication (MFA), privileged access management (PAM), and single sign-on (SSO) solutions. - Ability to write, review, and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation. - Experience with testing methodologies including unit, integration, and system-level testing. - Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology, especially Scrum. - Active Secret Clearance required. • Inspect manufactured and modular homes and buildings in Western North Carolina to ensure compliance with federal and state codes • Conduct plan reviews, in‑plant and field inspections, dealer lot inspections, and investigation of consumer complaints • Perform engineering review of structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general construction plans • Provide code interpretations and support local inspection departments • Participate in HUD joint monitoring and serve on the State Emergency Response Team during emergencies
