Role Description Everforth ECS is seeking a Naval Architect to work remotely. The primary focus of this position will be assisting program managers with day to day activities of ship acquisition. - Performing preliminary ship design studies - Performing engineering analyses on ship’s structure and foundations - Conducting trade-off studies - Contract validation - Ship checks - Specification development - Drawing review/modification - Technical writing - Performing cost estimates of design changes - Construction oversight - Other duties as assigned Some travel will be required, principally to shipyard locations. Overseas travel is a possibility. Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000 Qualifications - BS degree in Naval Architecture - 5 – 8 years of Naval Architectural design experience in early stage and functional stage design of ships - Ability to perform structural analyses and load calculations, to ensure sound design and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements - Experience in performing stability analyses to support the development, maintenance and operational use of stability and loading instructions - Experience with AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, NSERC, GHS, and Rhino Benefits General Description of Benefits Company Description

Role Description HERE Technologies is building a digital representation of reality at global scale. As Senior Principal Architect – Visuals and 3D Mapping, you define and drive a visual-first map platform, combining AI, 3D world modeling, and scalable data pipelines. You act as a technical visionary and hands-on architect, shaping how visual data becomes structured, queryable map intelligence, leveraging computer vision, world models, and Universal Scene Description (USD) based scene representations. - Define end-to-end architecture for visual-to-map pipelines (imagery → 3D → semantic maps) - Lead scalable systems for 3D and visual geospatial data processing and serving - Drive AI-based map creation (CNNs, multi-modal fusion, feature extraction) - Architect use of world foundation models for scene understanding and simulation - Standardize USD (Universal Scene Description) as canonical world representation - Build pipelines for map creation and offline export products - Advance algorithmic 3D modeling (splines, procedural geometry, parametric structures) - Drive Data Modeling for 3D map features - Align platform architecture with ADAS, digital twin, and map product needs - Provide technical leadership across teams, mentoring architects and engineers Qualifications - 10+ years in software architecture, 3D platforms, or geospatial systems - Proven leadership in large-scale platform architecture and technical strategy - Strong expertise in computer vision / deep learning (CNNs, multi-modal AI) - Strong understanding of 3D representations (DTM, TIN, multiresolution LOD) - Familiarity with modern 3D and AI toolchains - Experience with 3D scene representations and graphics pipelines - Hands-on knowledge of USD or similar 3D frameworks - Background in mapping, GIS, or location-based services - Knowledge of a wide array of tools in the 3D and deep Learning domain (3D modelling, SfM, PyTorch, Tensorflow,…) - Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and large-scale data processing - Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders Requirements - The expected base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $210,000 per year. - Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills and experience. - This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, which is subject to company and individual performance. • Define and own the enterprise-wide observability architecture, establishing technical standards, reference architectures, and multi-year roadmaps. • Evaluate, select, and standardize observability tooling (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Tempo, Loki, Elastic Stack, OpenTelemetry) to reduce tool sprawl and optimize total cost of ownership. • Design scalable data pipelines and storage strategies capable of ingesting and querying petabyte-scale telemetry data across metrics, traces, logs, and continuous profiling. • Design Terraform modules and Helm charts for declarative observability infrastructure provisioning across multi-cloud environments. • Establish and enforce instrumentation standards using the OpenTelemetry framework, including SDK guidelines, collector deployment patterns, and semantic conventions. • Define and champion SLO/SLI/error-budget frameworks across engineering teams, providing architectural guidance on service-level objective implementation. • Serve as a senior escalation point during critical incidents, leveraging deep observability expertise to accelerate diagnosis and resolution. • Provide architectural mentorship and technical guidance to Observability Engineers and SRE team members.
