Role Description HERE is seeking an experienced Contract React Developer to be fully dedicated to one of our key enterprise customers. In this role, you will build and maintain React-based applications using HERE (OpenFin) technologies, working as an embedded resource within the customer’s development team. You will leverage the HERE platform’s APIs and interoperability capabilities to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions. This is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of conversion to a full-time role with either HERE or the customer. Responsibilities - React Application Development: - Design, develop, and maintain React-based applications running on the HERE (OpenFin) platform for the customer’s desktop environment. - Leverage HERE’s interoperability APIs, workspace management, and notification capabilities to integrate with the customer’s existing technology stack. - Customer Integration: - Work as an embedded developer within the customer’s engineering team, participating in their sprints, stand-ups, and development workflows while building production-ready applications on the HERE platform. - Technical Delivery: - Build and deliver well-tested, performant React components and applications that meet customer requirements and timelines. - Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and contribute to code reviews within the customer’s team. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HERE platform integration and React application performance. - Collaboration & Communication: - Serve as the primary technical liaison between the customer’s development team and HERE’s engineering and product teams. - Provide regular status updates to both HERE and customer stakeholders, and escalate platform issues or feature requests as needed. - Platform Expertise: - Stay current with HERE platform releases and new API capabilities, and proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer’s implementation. - Quality & Standards: - Follow the customer’s coding standards and testing practices, ensuring all deliverables meet production quality standards and are well-documented. Qualifications - A minimum of five plus years of professional React development experience, ideally within financial services or enterprise SaaS environments. - Strong communication skills and comfortable working as an embedded resource within a customer’s team. - Expert-level proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Vite, etc.). - Experienced in building and deploying large-scale React single page applications in production environments. - Must be self-directed and comfortable working independently as a fully dedicated remote resource for a single customer engagement. - Experience with OpenFin/HERE platform, FDC3 interoperability standards, or financial desktop application development is strongly preferred. - Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX, Zustand), testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library), and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with Electron, PWAs, or other desktop web application frameworks is a plus. - You are excited about the opportunity to work deeply with a single customer, delivering high-impact React applications on the HERE platform, with a path to full-time conversion. About the Role HERE is seeking a mid-junior DevOps Engineer to join our infrastructure team! The primary responsibilities for this role will span CI/CD pipeline engineering and cloud operations, maintaining and improving our GitHub and GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and supporting our AWS cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with real production build systems and cloud platforms- while having the opportunity to work on practical projects that directly impact both our development velocity and operational reliability. We're actively evolving toward a cloud-agnostic, multi-cloud architecture and migrating to Kubernetes for container orchestration. While current AWS and ECS experience is essential, having exposure to Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes will position you well for our infrastructure roadmap. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with senior engineers who will provide guidance and mentorship, whilst giving you ownership of projects across the DevOps lifecycle. This is an excellent platform for building practical experience with modern build engineering (CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure, and deployment practices) within a production environment. Responsibilities - CI/CD Pipeline Development: - Build, maintain, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines for multi-platform builds (Windows, macOS, Linux). - Work with YAML configurations, pipeline stages, artifacts, and deployment workflows. - Cloud Infrastructure Operations: - Help maintain and improve AWS infrastructure including ECS/Fargate deployments, RDS databases, Route53 DNS, VPC networking, and IAM policies. - Support multi-tenant and multi-region architecture. - Container & Deployment Management: - Work with Docker containers, ECS task definitions, and ECR registries. - Deploy and manage containerized Node.js applications in production environments. - Release Management: - Help manage release processes including version promotion, release channels (canary, beta, stable), and automated deployment to staging and production environments. - Database Operations: - Support PostgreSQL on AWS RDS—backups, SSH tunneling through bastion hosts, read-only user management, and database configuration for multi-tenant environments. - Automation & Scripting: - Write and maintain automation scripts in Bash, PowerShell, Python, and Node.js. - Build tools to improve infrastructure reliability and developer experience. - Internal Tools Support: - Help maintain web-based DevOps tools built with Express.js, React, and TypeScript—tools for cloud settings management, tenant provisioning, and deployment monitoring. What We’re Looking For Ideally 2 to 4 years of experience with the following core requirements: - GitLab CI/CD: Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines—YAML configuration, stages, jobs, artifacts, rules, dependencies. - Understanding of CI/CD best practices and pipeline optimization. - AWS Cloud Fundamentals: Practical experience with core AWS services—EC2, ECS/Fargate, RDS, Route53, VPC, IAM, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch. Role Description The Business Solutions Architect works within a global account team structure and is responsible for expanding relationships, revenue, and influence at assigned customer bases. The role requires exceeding ambitious sales objectives in the Software Defined automotive industry, focusing on digital cabin experiences and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The architect builds and nurtures strong relationships with senior software leaders, generating, advancing, and closing large, complex software/services transactions involving multiple Director and VP decision makers. Key Responsibilities - Customer Engagement: - Represent voice of customer insights to HERE teams. - Lead value-selling sales engagements with account teams to develop solutions based on HERE’s product and services portfolio, and in alignment with go to market strategies. - Creation of optimal, scalable microservice-based solution architectures, designs and proposals (including SOWs), solving for customer challenges and opportunities as identified in the discovery stage. - Develop initial business case in support of proposed solutions, aligned to customer and HERE success metrics. - Ideate and develop proof-of-concept solutions leveraging HERE components in support of business development efforts. - Industry and Internal Engagement: - Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in the Software Defined Vehicle space, with particular focus on emerging technologies and their impact on solutions (e.g. NoA, AI, sensor/map fusion, etc.). - Target new bookings and buying centers in existing Global Automotive Accounts (Tesla, Rivian, Lucid etc.), often aligning and partnering with large Tier 1 players. - Collaborate with account teams’ development and implementation of account strategies, maximizing opportunities and value to HERE. - Internal partnering beyond account teams, including partner managers, industry solutions SMEs, product/engineering teams to foster synergies and relationships. Qualifications - 10+ years of successful B2B sales experience in automotive technology (software, IVI, ADAS). - 6+ years experience in technical solution design, implementation, or consulting with a focus on cloud services or SaaS. - 3+ years experience in software pre-sales consulting. - BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems preferred. - Domain expertise with geospatial information systems (GIS) and location services. - Proven ability to interface with all levels in Product, Development, and organizations. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Experience developing solutions leveraging AI, ML, big data & analytics.
