Role Description - Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements, ensuring monthly account reconciliation for accurate records. - Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies while overseeing the general ledger. - Analyze costs, recommend strategies for optimization, and evaluate financial risks to implement controls. - Develop and manage budgets, providing financial forecasts to support decision-making. - Support Cordatus's client in back-office accounting functions, including managing A/P & A/R, bank reconciliations, and preparing periodic financial statements. - Mentor junior staff and assist team managers with various tasks. - Interact with clients through video calls (Zoom + MS Teams) and respond to queries via email/Slack/MS Teams live chats. - Enter invoices and other accounting data into cloud-based accounting systems. - Streamline accounting functions and operations for efficiency. Qualifications - ACCA, MBA, or equivalent qualifications in accounting or finance. - Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP, as well as Microsoft Office tools. - Fluent spoken and written English for effective communication with U.S.-based clients. - Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. - Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, ensuring accurate records and seamless remote work with reliable internet and a dedicated workspace. - Comfortable working remotely as per US Time zones from Monday till Friday.

Role Description The Staff Accountant, Consolidations & Reporting position will perform a variety of accounting, finance, and analytical functions as part of the company’s regular consolidation and reporting processes. This role will work with global accounting teams to gather and compile disclosure data and maintain supporting analyses and work-papers. Perform tasks as directed by the Director – Consolidations and Reporting and VP – Consolidations and Reporting. - Coordinate the preparation of regular reporting packages by all subsidiaries. - Participate in the consolidation process of reporting packages and review results for accuracy. - Prepare consolidation entries, intercompany elimination entries, account reconciliations and account analyses. - Review disclosure information provided by subsidiaries for accuracy and preparation of consolidated schedules encompassing information provided by subsidiaries. - Investigate and resolve discrepancies when identified. - Prepare and maintain schedules which support consolidated financial statement disclosures. - Prepare ad-hoc analysis as requested by management. - Evaluate accounting processes and identify opportunities to streamline and recommend solutions. - Maintain supporting documentation to ensure compliance with internal control standards. - Respond to requests from internal and external auditors. Role Description The Management Accountant will be responsible for month-end reconciliations and accounts payable management while ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role leads a team of 3 skilled Accounts Assistants and is responsible for their day-to-day management and longer-term coaching and development. - Line manager of 3 Accounts Assistants focussed primarily on accounts payable - Prepare and complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations ensuring any reconciling items are explained and resolved in a timely manner. - Weekly and 4 weekly payroll journals plus updating of the Weekly Wage Tracker. - Fixed asset acquisition, disposal and depreciation journals. - Accruals and Prepayment journals and reconciliations (including stock purchases) - Review and adjust general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy. - Assist with month-end close processes. - Generate financial reports to support management decision-making. - Monthly update of prompt payments report for submission to group - ONS submissions (monthly RSI and quarterly capex) - Update PSA data for submission to group - Oversee supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations. - Prepare aged creditors reports, AP KPIs and assist with cash flow forecasting. - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. - Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function. - Ensure Compliance with internal procedures and accounting standards - Provide cover in the department as needed.
