• Own day‑to‑day management of assigned customer accounts, serving as the primary commercial point of contact and ensuring strong, trust‑based customer relationships. • Drive new business development within the assigned territory or customer portfolio by identifying growth opportunities, developing prospects, and advancing opportunities through the sales pipeline. • Lead customer pricing and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with approved commercial strategies while driving margin expansion and profitable growth. • Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Pricing, and Demand Planning teams to ensure customer commitments are executable and fulfilled as agreed. • Monitor customer satisfaction and service performance, proactively addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and escalating issues as necessary to protect relationships and revenue. • Develop accurate customer‑level forecasts and demand insights, communicating changes in customer needs, risks, or opportunities to internal stakeholders. • Represent the company professionally in customer interactions, consistently reinforcing the company’s value proposition and commercial credibility.
Job Requirements
- Must live in the Great Lakes Region (Indiana, Ohio, Michigan)
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related discipline required; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development.
- Demonstrated success managing customer relationships, developing new business, and delivering revenue and margin growth.
- Experience supporting or leading customer pricing and contract negotiations, with an understanding of margin and profitability drivers.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with customer service, logistics, supply chain, pricing, and planning teams to deliver customer commitments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow‑through skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing role.
- High‑energy, customer‑oriented professional with a collaborative mindset, sound judgment, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Role Description The Sales Associate – Small & Mid-Market is an inbound-focused sales role designed to expand coverage and increase productivity across the small and mid-market segments. This role supports multiple Territory Sales Representatives by qualifying and managing inbound leads, progressing sales opportunities, and handling transactional or lower-complexity accounts under the guidance of experienced, strategic sellers.
