Role Description The Inside Sales APAC team serves as the first point of contact for many prospective customers and plays a critical role in driving sales growth across the region. The primary objective of the role is to qualify prospects who have expressed interest in Sangoma’s products and services by understanding their business needs and determining whether Sangoma’s solutions are a technical and commercial fit. Leads are distributed either by territory or through a round-robin process to ensure fair and balanced allocation across the team. All leads are generated by the Marketing department through sources such as inbound phone inquiries, website form submissions, and product webinars. Through strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and teamwork skills, the successful candidate will directly contribute to pipeline development, customer retention, and revenue growth within the APAC region. - Engage with customers and prospects through phone, video conferencing, email, chat, and other communication channels. - Provide pre-sales support and information on Sangoma’s products and services. - Assess customer requirements and recommend preliminary solutions that align with their business and technical needs. - Provide budgetary pricing and product information to prospective customers. - Follow documented and automated lead engagement processes to effectively qualify and develop sales opportunities. - Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive offerings to serve as a trusted advisor to customers. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions within the company’s CRM system. - Prepare quotations and conduct timely follow-up activities to advance sales opportunities. - Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers, including handling escalations, identifying upsell opportunities, addressing billing inquiries, and supporting other account management activities. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience and successful resolution of customer concerns. Qualifications - Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. - 1–2 years of experience in Inside Sales and/or Account Management. - Demonstrated ability and desire to qualify, develop, and progress sales leads. - Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. - Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn Sangoma products, services, and internal systems. - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - Successful track record in commission-based sales. - Experience selling communications or technology solutions. - Experience in Account Management and/or Inside Sales within the Unified Communications (UC) or Telecommunications industry. - Experience using Salesforce CRM.
