The Genetic Analysis Instrument Sales Representative position is part of the commercial organization supporting the Genetic Analysis portfolio which provides high-value genomic data to assist critical decisions in research and applied markets: - Quantitative PCR - Sanger Sequencing - Human Identification - Microarray - AgriGenomics A day in the Life: - Remotely based in Houston, Texas, field sales position responsible for achieving or exceeding the assigned territory sales plan. - Will possess strong technical acuity in the areas of qPCR, dPCR and Capillary Electrophoresis (sequencing). - Strong intuition for business required to build successful account and territory plans and translate territory strategy into business results. - Primarily focused on successful capital equipment sales and large reagent deals including funnel management skills and strong hunting, prospecting and closing skills. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field required. - Requires a minimum of 3 years sales experience in Life Science or combined lab experience with 2 years of sales in another industry, capital equipment experience preferred. - Extensive knowledge of qPCR, Sanger sequencing, and/or microarray. - Selling experience in academic, industrial and federal government accounts. Role Description We are seeking a Franchise Account Executive with experience in sales & account management. You will be focused on creating the best possible customer experience while growing the business.
