Role Description The Manager of Corporate Development will drive strategic growth across the nuclear sector, leading initiatives that advance the company’s mission to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative nuclear technologies and services. This role is highly visible and requires a blend of deep industry knowledge, strong financial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory and commercial landscapes. Your Day-to-Day as Manager of Corporate Development - Lead the full lifecycle of corporate development initiatives, strengthening the company’s competitive position within the nuclear industry. - Conduct rigorous market, financial, and competitive analyses to surface growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making. - Partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic investments. - Support and help manage all stages of due diligence, including financial modeling, valuation, risk assessment, and integration planning. - Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investment banks, consultants, advisors, and industry partners. - Monitor emerging trends, policy developments, and competitive dynamics to ensure strategy is forward-looking and well-informed. - Prepare clear, compelling presentations and reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Nuclear Science, or a related field. - At least 5 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, or strategic roles within the defense, nuclear, or energy sector. - Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Pay The base salary range for this position in Ohio (US-OH) at the start of employment is expected to be between $86,000 and $136,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
