Job Description

VP of Software Sales

Harmonic

• Own global software bookings, revenue growth, and market expansion for Harmonic's software and SaaS Intelligence portfolio. • Build executive-level relationships with CEOs, CTOs, COOs, CIOs, and operations leaders at broadband operators globally. • Develop and execute together with the Business and Product team, a go-to-market strategy for Harmonic's Intelligence Operation platform and SaaS portfolio. • Partner with regional sales leaders to identify, qualify, and close SaaS opportunities across existing and new customers. • Build and scale a high-performing software sales organization as the business grows. • Drive adoption of outcome-based selling focused on customer business value, operational efficiency, subscriber experience, and AI-enabled automation. • Establish software pipeline generation programs and predictable forecasting processes. • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide market feedback and influence roadmap priorities. • Develop strategic partnerships with ecosystem providers, cloud providers, AI partners, and industry organizations. • Support investor, analyst, customer, and industry-facing activities related to Harmonic's software strategy.

Job Requirements

  • 15+ years of technology sales experience with significant experience selling software, SaaS, cloud, analytics, AI, or operational platforms.
  • 5+ years leading software sales teams or software business units.
  • Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding multi-million-dollar software revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of broadband, telecommunications, networking, or adjacent technology markets.
  • Proven executive presence with experience selling to C-suite and senior technology leaders.
  • Experience building strategic account plans and driving complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Preferred: Experience selling into cable operators, fiber providers, telecommunications service providers, or network operators.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI, machine learning, analytics, observability, automation, or network operations platforms.
  • Preferred: Experience leading transformation initiatives that combine infrastructure and software solutions.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with DOCSIS, PON, broadband operations, customer experience platforms, and OSS/BSS ecosystems.
