• Support the day-to-day administration of client benefit programs with a focus on Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting, data integrity, client service, and process improvement • Partner with clients and internal teams to collect, review, prepare, and audit data for ACA reporting solutions • Respond to client questions and help ensure timely, accurate reporting outcomes • Prepare, validate, and organize client-provided data for import into ACA reporting technology • Manage multiple priorities and project deadlines, particularly during high-volume reporting periods

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3 to 5 years customer service experience in the insurance industry required
  • Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Effective customer service skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology

Role Description The Senior Account Manager plays a critical role in driving client success by building solid, trusted partnerships and delivering strategic value across a portfolio of external payer clients within Optum’s Transplant Solutions. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for client satisfaction, retention, and growth through proactive relationship management, strategic guidance, and operational excellence. This role serves as the primary point of contact for payer clients, third party administrators, clinical management vendors, consultants, and internal partners, ensuring seamless delivery of Whole Health Solutions across products such as: - Transplant - Oncology - Kidney - Dialysis - Congenital heart disease - Ventricular assistive devices - Cell and gene therapy The ideal candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build solid relationships with key decision makers of each client, and solid organizational skills. This role operates in a fast-paced, high-visibility client environment and requires the ability to quickly assume ownership of complex accounts with minimal oversight.
