Role Description This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys owning both strategy and execution. As Marketing Director, you'll bridge the gap between B2B supply chain marketing and technology platform growth, building and optimizing the marketing engine that attracts, converts, and retains 3PL partners and platform users worldwide. Working directly with the CEO and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll be responsible for everything from high-level growth planning and market expansion initiatives to campaign execution, outreach strategy, funnel optimization, and performance analysis. We're looking for someone who understands the logistics landscape, knows how to market a B2B platform or marketplace, and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to make things happen. Key Responsibilities - Marketing Strategy & Growth - Own and execute the company's global marketing strategy, including brand positioning, demand generation, content marketing, SEO, paid media, email marketing, and product marketing. - Develop and optimize inbound and outbound marketing funnels that drive qualified 3PL partnerships and platform sign-ups. - Build scalable lead generation systems and nurturing programs across email, LinkedIn, and other acquisition channels. - Develop compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with 3PL providers, e-commerce merchants, and supply chain stakeholders. - Partner closely with the CEO to align marketing initiatives with business objectives, market expansion plans, and strategic partnerships. - Continuously evaluate growth opportunities, customer acquisition strategies, and market trends to support business growth. - 3PL Research, Outreach & Partnership Development - Identify, research, and evaluate potential 3PL partners across global markets based on capabilities, geographic coverage, and strategic fit. - Build and maintain a structured database of prospective partners, including service offerings, contact information, engagement history, and partnership status. - Execute outreach campaigns through email, LinkedIn, and other channels to introduce the platform and generate partnership opportunities. - Conduct initial qualification and discovery conversations to assess partnership potential and business fit. - Prepare prospect profiles, competitive analyses, service gap assessments, and recommended engagement strategies. - Manage ongoing follow-up and relationship-building efforts throughout the partnership pipeline. - Monitor and respond to inbound partnership inquiries, emails, and direct messages in a timely and professional manner. - Support and oversee social media activities related to partner engagement and brand visibility. - Manage and mentor team members and virtual assistants responsible for 3PL sourcing and outreach initiatives. - Analytics, Platform Performance & Market Intelligence - Monitor website traffic, user behavior, order flows, conversion rates, and user journeys to identify growth opportunities and areas for optimization. - Track and report on key performance indicators including MQLs, sign-ups, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and campaign performance. - Analyze acquisition channels, user engagement metrics, and conversion paths to improve platform performance. - Review order activity and operational trends, escalating issues and identifying opportunities for process improvements. - Prepare weekly and monthly reports highlighting growth performance, outreach effectiveness, partnership pipeline status, and strategic recommendations. - Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and monitor logistics industry trends, pricing changes, market developments, and emerging opportunities. - Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Lead and mentor a growing cross-functional team supporting marketing, outreach, research, design, development, and growth initiatives. - Directly oversee the 3PL Searching & Outreach team, ensuring sourcing pipelines, outreach efforts, and engagement targets are achieved. - Collaborate with design, development, operations, and data teams to improve customer experience and optimize growth initiatives. - Establish clear goals, reporting structures, workflows, and performance expectations across the team. - Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making. - Executive Partnership & Operational Support - Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO on growth initiatives, partnership development, and market expansion opportunities. - Coordinate projects across multiple stakeholders, ensuring priorities remain aligned and execution stays on track. - Conduct ad hoc market research, competitive analysis, and business intelligence projects to support strategic decision-making. - Assist with scheduling, communications, meeting preparation, and executive follow-ups related to key initiatives. - Support meeting documentation, action-item tracking, and project coordination. - Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for partnership meetings, conferences, and industry events when required. Qualifications - 6–8+ years of experience in marketing, growth, business development, partnerships, or related leadership roles. - Proven success within a 3PL, logistics, freight forwarding, B2B supply chain technology, marketplace, or related environment. - Strong understanding of both inbound and outbound lead generation strategies. - Experience designing and executing outreach and nurturing sequences across email, LinkedIn, and other channels. - Deep understanding of global logistics markets, industry dynamics, pricing structures, and competitive landscapes. - Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving business growth initiatives. - Strong analytical skills with experience using modern marketing and analytics platforms. - Familiarity with Google Analytics, Hotjar, CRM systems, automation tools, and reporting platforms. - Shopify and broader e-commerce ecosystem experience is highly preferred. - Strong project management, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. - Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced, and growth-oriented environment.
