• Oversee and manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring collections are done promptly and in compliance with company policies. • Initiate and follow up with customers via email or phone regarding collecting outstanding balances due, uncover disputes and resolve payment delay issues. • Update the collections report with detailed records of collections activities, payment arrangements, and communications with customers. • Work closely with billing and account management to ensure escalated disputes are resolved in a timely manner. • Regularly monitor and analyze aging reports to prioritize accounts for collection based on outstanding balances and risk factors. • Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as directed by management related to collections strategy, reporting and process improvements.

• Managing the full accounting cycle for U.S.-based clients, including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting • Serving as the main accounting point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of results • Applying startup accounting principles to balance best practices with resource constraints and evolving priorities • Making financial judgments in dynamic, less structured environments while maintaining accuracy and compliance • Integrating and optimizing external applications with QuickBooks Online to streamline accounting operations • Overseeing accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and vendor/client interactions • Leveraging tools such as QuickBooks Online, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, and Google Drive daily, with the opportunity to work with Rippling, Brex, Bill.com, ClickUp, Gusto, and Ramp • Staying current on emerging technologies and AI applications that can enhance accounting efficiency

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals, including performance reviews, training, and team-building initiatives • Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tight deadlines • Direct and continuously enhance HOA accounting processes, driving efficiency and operational effectiveness • Partner with peer managers to ensure consistency and alignment across the department • Prepare and deliver financial reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders, including Corporate Accounting and senior leadership • Support system conversions and ongoing general ledger (GL) operations • Participate in and lead special projects and initiatives as assigned • Coordinate and consolidate information for external HOA audits • Manage budgeting and forecasting activities • Operate with a high level of autonomy while proactively keeping leadership informed of key developments and risks • Influence both property-level (resort) and corporate-level financial operations and decision-making

What you do Each Day - Own the strategic roadmap for bookkeeping services to anticipate customer needs and market shifts rather than reacting to them. - Reimagine how bookkeeping work is delivered by identifying where AI, automation, and tooling can step-change quality, speed, and scale. - Build the operating model for efficient, scalable service delivery, including month-end close, reconciliation, and quality control. - Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of bookkeeping professionals while building the adaptability to thrive amid evolving tools. - Define and monitor the KPIs that matter for service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction to drive data-informed decisions. - Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, and fintech teams to refine and expand our accounting solutions. - Leverage the collective knowledge of your team to support the resolution of complex accounting matters, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Qualifications - 8+ years leading operations, preferably in service-division environments focused on bookkeeping or similar. - Experience managing teams of 25+, including remote teams, with demonstrated ability to scale and re-shape large service operations. - Strong leadership skills with a proven history of developing teams in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. - Demonstrated tracking using technology, automation, or AI to fundamentally improve how work gets done at scale. - Proven experience driving team efficiency or output quality through the strategic use of AI tools and automation. - Working understanding of bookkeeping services sufficient to guide sound process design and high-quality delivery. - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience. Location Dependent Information This role is open to candidates and the expected salary range for this role is $96,000-$120,000. The specific salary for the successful candidate will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
