Lead Field Testing Technician

• Lead and provide technical reports for all Fenestration Field Testing efforts while complying with all industry testing standards • Lead and mentor assistant technicians with all testing • Assist with the proper setup and removal of all testing equipment • Always establish and maintain a safe working environment • Use power and hand tools to construct items needed in the testing process • Provide excellent customer service and detailed technical reports for each testing procedure • Travel is a requirement (up to 50%)
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Construction experience is preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints (A Plus)
- Ability to use measuring devices and make precise cuts to wood using hand and power tools
- Ability to formulate and solve simple mathematical equations
- Possess basic computer and smartphone skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fenestration Associate Certification is required
- OSHA 10 for Construction Certification is required
