Senior Manager, Shopper Marketing

• The Shopper Marketing Senior Manager serves as the critical link between brand strategy and retail execution • Responsible for translating brand campaigns, creative assets, and marketing initiatives into impactful shopper-facing programs across retail environments • Partner with Sales, Brand Marketing, Creative, and Retail Partners to develop and execute strategies that enhance brand visibility • Own and manage the shopper marketing budget, including forecasting, allocation by retailer and activation type, invoice management, and financial reconciliation • Develop shopper-focused retail marketing materials including brand stores, in-store signage, shelf talkers, displays, endcaps, FSIs, seasonal programs, and digital retail assets • Lead execution of promotional programs, point-of-sale materials, retail events, and activation plans in partnership with Sales and Creative teams • Create category insights, selling tools, and brand value proposition materials that support sales growth and retailer engagement
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, brand marketing, retail marketing, or a related discipline
- Experience supporting retail sales organizations and customer-facing marketing initiatives
- Experience within the pet food, consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or related industries, preferred
- Experience managing retailer-specific marketing programs and joint business planning initiatives
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing programs that drive measurable business results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing project management tools
- Strong understanding of retail marketing, shopper behavior, and consumer conversion strategies

• Collaborate with East Region business development and operations teams in support of pursuit efforts. • Partner in the preparation of formal and informal client solicitations across the full pursuit lifecycle. • Interface with business line growth teams and operations to support the process of winning work. • Lead and support responses to client solicitations while applying standard pursuit processes to ensure efficiency, schedule adherence, and bid compliance. • Coordinate and deliver high-quality print, electronic, and oral proposal submissions. • Contribute to proposal strategy through market research, competitive intelligence, and the use of data systems and tools to inform business and pursuit planning efforts. • Leads small to medium proposals and supports or leads (based upon experience) large proposals and presentations. • Support capture managers in development of the win strategies from capture through interview preparation. • Develop annotated outlines and provides recommendations to technical teams on section structure, messaging, and positioning. • May serve as lead writer/editor for key sections including resumes, past performance, executive summaries, and management approaches. • May provide conceptual input on document design and collaborate with technical, operations, and business development teams to develop compelling marketing materials. • Facilitate or support color reviews (Pink and Red Team) and quality reviews, incorporating lessons learned and managing revisions based on review team direction. • Participate in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines and support capture planning and positioning activities related to proposal preparation. • Complete internal debriefs for proposals they lead, leveraging past pursuit debrief information, and support win/loss debriefs and client feedback efforts to drive continuous improvement. • May support broader marketing and pursuit strategy efforts, including campaign development and client/market-focused content. • Perform self-check of work prior to submitting to others for review/approval.
