Role Description The Technical Project Manager leads and manages cross-functional technology initiatives through the full project lifecycle, including: - Requirements gathering - Planning - Design - Development - Implementation - Post-launch support The role ensures high-quality delivery that is on time and within budget while balancing rigor with flexibility in a fast-paced environment. This role serves as a critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical work into clear business outcomes across manufacturing and distribution operations. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience. - PMP certification or in active pursuit. - Agile certification (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) preferred. - 3–5 years of exposure experience in software development, systems integration, infrastructure, or IT operations. - 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or operational environments preferred. - 4-7 years of experience managing technical projects through the full life cycle in IT, applications, infrastructure, data, or digital product environments. - Experience coordinating technical teams, managing delivery dependencies, and working with Agile and Waterfall methods, including tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. - Proven experience managing ERP, WMS, TMS, or other enterprise system implementations. - Strong collaboration, communication, facilitation, and risk management skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language for business stakeholders and non-technical audiences. - Strong customer service mindset and sense of urgency to deliver results. - Ability to think strategically, navigate ambiguity, and solve complex technical and organizational problems. - Commitment to knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement of delivery practices. Requirements - Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects and position the PMO as a strategic partner to the organization. - Develop and manage project plans, charters, communication plans, testing plans, and implementation plans. - Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and quality of deliverables. - Coordinate cross-functional technology teams including developers, architects, QA, infrastructure, security, and Support throughout the project lifecycle. - Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks including integration dependencies, system performance, data integrity, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements. - Oversee system implementations, integrations, proofs of concept, and production deployments, including post-launch monitoring, stabilization, and support. - Manage vendors, software platforms, and implementation partners delivering technical capabilities and services. - Oversee technology-focused change management to drive user adoption, training, and effective utilization of new systems and tools. - Assist with driving the adoption and maturation of Agile methodologies across the organization. - Apply Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches based on project complexity and stakeholder needs. - Partner with the technical team to identify risk, deliverables, and outcomes. - Travel up to 5% across ACR facilities (FTE).
