Job Description
SEO & GEO Lead – Freelance
parcelLab
• Design and build systems that auto-generate content (starting with blog posts) from product updates, sales enablement material, and recurring customer questions • Apply a 95% automation / 5% human refinement approach - using AI to do the heavy lifting, while your editorial judgment is what keeps quality high and prevents AI-generated spam • Own SEO and GEO strategy together: keyword and topic targeting, on-page optimization, and getting parcelLab cited in AI-generated answers on post-purchase and returns queries • Manage content across multiple channels - blog, LinkedIn, social, and website copy - coordinating visual content needs along the way • Mine existing sources for content opportunities: product marketing's Notion pages, sales enablement decks, product release notes, and real customer inquiries • Collaborate closely with Product Marketing (content angles and positioning), Creative (visual content), and Web Development (on-site implementation) to ship consistently • Continuously refine the automation systems themselves as you learn what works
Job Requirements
- A content/SEO professional who's also a builder - someone who has shipped AI-assisted content workflows, not just used ChatGPT to draft a paragraph
- Strong, native-level English and excellent writing instincts - the judgment to know what shouldn't ship, even when AI produced it
- Working knowledge of both SEO and GEO, and genuine interest in how AI answer engines are reshaping organic discovery
- Comfortable owning ambiguity - this role is being built, not slotted into an existing playbook
- A natural collaborator - you'll be the connective tissue across product marketing, creative, and web, so cross-functional ease matters as much as technical skill
- Based in Munich or London preferred; we're open to remote for exceptional candidates
- Bonus Points: Experience with citation tracking, llms.txt, schema markup, or other hands-on GEO/entity work
- Background in B2B SaaS or post-purchase/ecommerce
- Experience building or configuring no-code/AI automation tooling (e.g. content pipelines, workflow automation)
Benefits
- Plenty of room for your own ideas...space to try, fail and learn!
- Comprehensive 30-60-90 day onboarding plan in place from the very first day to help you integrate seamlessly with the rest of the company and understand new responsibilities
- Equipped with the latest MacBook or PC, as a digital-first company, you choose whether to work entirely from home, in one of our offices or a mix that suits you. Not close to one of our offices? No problem! Find yourself a co-working space instead, and we'll help cover the costs
- Career development opportunities, including our Leadership Development Program, as well as online language courses and available budgets for further training
- Stay grounded with our free meditation, mindfulness and coaching sessions via our mental wellbeing platform TELUS.health
- Regular company retreats, parcelLab events (in-person and online), local and regional meet-ups, as well as team off-sites
- Be part of a motivated, diverse and international team made up of over 25 different nationalities; and with a great rating for company culture and employee experience on Glassdoor, you'll love working here!
