Consumer Brand Strategist

Role Description Intel's Brand and Creative team, within the Global Marketing and Communications Group, is seeking a Consumer Brand Strategist to lead the strategic development of Intel's client and gaming brands. This role will shape Intel's brand portfolio across hardware, software, solutions, and services, ensuring alignment with business goals and consumer engagement strategies. - Brand Strategy Development: Lead the creation, curation, and management of Intel's consumer product brand strategy across processors, integrated technologies, and emerging product categories such as AI, security, graphics, and gaming. - Naming and Architecture: Define and implement strategic decisions regarding product brand creation, brand extensions, hierarchy, categories, and segmentation. - Creative Naming Development: Oversee the development of naming conventions, nomenclature, and tiering strategies to ensure a cohesive and effective naming system. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Intel strategic planners, engineers, product marketing, and designers to ensure branding strategies align with technical innovation and market positioning. - Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage senior stakeholders across business, sales, and marketing teams to drive alignment on long-term brand decisions. - Brand Activation and Visual Identity: Collaborate on the development of physical and digital brand activations, ensuring consistent and impactful brand storytelling. - Brand Analysis and Insights: Work with internal and external teams to validate brand strategy frameworks, measure consumer impact, and refine ongoing brand management practices. - Process Optimization: Identify and implement efficiencies in branding workflows. - Agency and Vendor Management: Direct internal and external brand and naming resources to support branding initiatives when necessary. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in brand strategy, brand management, brand marketing, product marketing or brand naming at either a brand agency or on the client side. - 3+ years of experience presenting to executive stakeholders. - 3+ years of experience in technology branding. - 2+ years of experience in consumer, gaming, or client brand projects (preferred). Requirements - Deep expertise in brand strategy, naming, and architecture. - Willing to drive strategic thinking for evolving product brands and categories. - Passion for client-facing products and consumer engagement. - Proven skills to influence creative strategy and visual identity systems. - Experience in cross-functional collaboration with diverse teams. - A track record of driving data-driven brand decision-making. - Experience guiding executive-level stakeholders and fostering business alignment. - Exceptional project management skills to oversee branding initiatives. - Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills for executive-level communication.
