Job Description

Program Manager – Automotive OEM

Affinitiv

• Coordinate engineering and operations efforts: • Manage feature requests and write business requirements • Prioritize engineering tasks with internal and OEM stakeholders • Coordinate system updates for new model years, including service plan, VMG and accessory trigger updates • Coordinate national product and major feature launches: • Plan pilots with Account Management Team and delivery departments, including setting objectives and success criteria • Coordinate training for OEM corporate, OEM field and dealers, Affinitiv internal and external field reps, and support reps • Plan rollout with Account Team and delivery departments and set up feedback loop • Responsible for providing internal and OEM reporting: • Account success metrics • Internal executive-level reports on program success metrics • Monthly and/or ad hoc reports to OEM as needed • Coordinate client quarterly business reviews (QBRs) in partnership with Account Management Team • Coordinate client executive business reviews (EBRs) in partnership with Account Management Team • Partner with delivery departments and Account Management Team to document and maintain, as needed, the following: • Release notes (as well as disseminate to various audiences including OEM Corporate, OEM field, dealers, and internal and external field representatives) • Online training materials for dealers, field representatives, and OEM personnel • OEM integrations (e.g. file feeds and APIs) • Program-specific feature/reporting logic and other program-specific considerations • Meeting and schedule management • Schedule internal meetings as well as draft, store, and disseminate notes • Schedule OEM stakeholder meetings as well as draft, store, and disseminate notes • Maintain monthly meeting calendar in partnership with other team members and the Account Management Team • Lead weekly internal cross-department status calls • Contribute to and uphold quality standards at Affinitiv • Complete program review for OEM-specific features to confirm functionality against business requirements where possible • Ensure customer communications either authored or reviewed by Program Manager are professional and positively represent the Company • Escalation support for OEM: • Handle support escalations from OEM and field reps

Job Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or commensurate experience
  • 3+ years external client management skills required
  • Track record of building strong, trusted client relationships preferred
  • Experience assisting sales teams
  • Experience managing SaaS client relationships preferred
  • Understanding and experience with standard SDLC processes and methodologies
  • Exceptional critical reasoning skills
  • Moderate or better skills in Excel
  • Experience with Jira a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience analyzing business requirements
  • Experience writing functional requirements
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Must be comfortable presenting to clients and executive leadership teams
  • Experience in the automotive industry a plus
  • Experience providing software consulting services a plus
