Staff Accountant
WorkWave
• Own the full-cycle GL process for assigned accounts, including journal entries for accruals, prepaid amortization, and depreciation. • Manage daily bank activity and reporting; initiate wire/ACH transfers and monitor cash positions. • Perform monthly reconciliations for key operational accounts and resolve variances. • Update actuals within the 13-week cash flow model to assist the Controller. • Serve as a point of contact for external auditors.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of accounting or treasury experience (relevant internships included).
- Strong foundational understanding of GAAP (accrual vs. cash basis).
- Debits/Credits knowledge.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Data Visualization).
- Proven ability to reconcile complex data sets and identify discrepancies.
- CPA designation or currently active on the CPA track.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct).
- Experience in a high-growth environment preferred.
