Role Description Everfox is seeking a capable Sales Engineer to help lead its focuses on the market in UK, NATO and EMEA. You will serve as a subject matter expert on all technical aspects of Everfox’s unique and innovative ultra-secure solutions and their deployment, providing pre-sales support for the government and defense market in the focus regions. - Track record of successfully collaborating with Account Execs in taking innovative security and analytics solutions to the gov and defense market. - Implementing large scale cyber security solutions. - Passion for helping customers solve difficult problems. - Understanding of insider threat, data protection, cloud security, and/or cross-domain solutions. - Customer-facing role responsible for the success of customer pilots and technical evaluations. - Proven ability to consult with business leaders to understand their challenges and articulate solutions. - Sharp, technically literate, commercially astute, and self-starting. - Ability to consult with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Broad and deep knowledge of a variety of technologies and concepts. - High level of presentation skills and ability to engage with audiences. Qualifications - Strong experience in a sales engineering/pre-sales role supporting critical security solutions in the gov/defense space. - Eligible for security clearance, ideally already cleared to at least UK SC. - Ability to work as part of a small sales team to formulate account strategies. - Experience with building strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with customer’s technical staff. - Ability to articulate product positioning and competitive differentiation to both business and technical users. - Experience with responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs. - Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. - Deep knowledge of sales cycle and pre-sales activities. - Experience working with both technical teams and end users. - Resilience and ability to handle stressful situations effectively while managing several tasks. - A self-starter and proactive leader willing to display initiative with common sense. - Results driven and committed to ‘outcomes rather than output’. - Capable of developing empathy and rapport internally with staff and with customers and partners. - Strong work ethic and committed to quality. - Disciplined, organized and methodical in approach to tasks and activities. Requirements - Excellent knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including: - Internet security - Anti-malware technologies - Proxy technologies - Experience with Windows, Linux, SIEM, information security, networking, scripting - Experience working in cloud, virtualized, networked environments, specifically VMWare, KVM and Hyper-V based systems - Demonstrated knowledge of Web Security, Email Security and Secure Data Transfer and Access solutions. - Advanced understanding of enterprise networking, including SaaS and Cloud solutions, such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
