Automation QA Engineer

Shift Markets

• Own and maintain Shift Markets' existing automation testing infrastructure. • Build, maintain, and expand automated end-to-end test suites. • Develop new automated test cases using Playwright and TypeScript. • Collaborate closely with QA and Engineering teams to improve product quality and testing efficiency. • Help design and implement API testing capabilities and automation frameworks. • Identify opportunities to reduce manual testing effort through automation. • Investigate test failures and improve test reliability and platform stability. • Recommend improvements to automation frameworks, tooling, and testing processes. • Contribute to quality assurance best practices across the organization. • Leverage AI tools to improve productivity, testing workflows, and engineering efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • 2 years of hands-on automation testing experience
  • Experience building, maintaining, and expanding automated test suites
  • Strong experience with Playwright
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript
  • Understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies and automation best practices
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve productivity, development, or testing workflows

Role Description The Field Operations Specialist is a part of Turf Tank's Operations department and will report to the Regional Field Operations Manager. The FOS's main function will be to teach and support new/existing customers in the region on how to properly operate and maintain our robots. This role emphasizes precision, consistency, and adherence to Turf Tank standards, with direction and oversight provided by the Field Operations Manager. This role ensures successful robot deployments, consistent customer experiences, and reliable day-to-day field execution.
