Epic Patient Access Senior Manager

Role Description Lead Patient Access operations across the western region (WA, OR, CA, and Mountain West), ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery. - Oversee design, build, and maintenance of patient access technologies and workflows. - Partner with operational leaders to optimize workflows, drive best practices, and improve patient access outcomes. - Lead medium to large-scale technology initiatives, including system implementations, upgrades, and optimizations. - Plan and manage regional staffing capacity, ensuring efficient team performance and alignment to priorities. - Hire, coach, and develop team members; serve as a mentor and trusted advisor. - Provide guidance on system configuration, workflow design, and process improvements. - Analyze workflows and system performance to identify and implement improvement opportunities. - Translate business requirements into functional specifications; prioritize and deliver system enhancements. - Oversee incident management and ensure timely resolution of system and operational issues. - Build strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure clear communication from requirements through implementation. Qualifications - 7+ years combined experience across HealthCare and/or IT domains with at least 5 of those years working with Epic configuration and 2 years resource management and/or large-scale project management. - 2+ current Epic certifications in the following areas: Prelude, Cadence, Grand Central. Preferred Certifications are the following areas: MyChart, Resolute professional billing, Resolute Hospital Billing, HIM. - Completed Epic CEE (Continued Epic Education) to maintain certifications, proficiencies, and badges. - 7+ years of experience configuring and supporting Patient access workflows including HIM, registration, scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, MyChart workflows including digital strategies, authorization and facility structure. - Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Requirements - Revenue Cycle experience, MyChart and HIM certifications are preferred in addition to the certifications listed above. - Certification in Service Management, Project Management, or Business Analysis is preferred. - Masters degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Data Science or Healthcare preferred.
