Partner Engagement Manager

• Act as the trusted AWS technical advisor for strategic partners, guiding solution design and architecture decisions • Lead the onboarding journey for new partners, ensuring seamless adoption of AWS through Pax8 • Deliver engaging enablement sessions, technical workshops, and pre-sales support that empower partner teams • Support partners in progressing through AWS programs, unlocking new capabilities and tier advancements • Drive adoption of AWS tools, best practices, and initiatives that enhance partner success • Collaborate with internal vendor and go-to-market teams to create compelling technical value propositions • Contribute to internal enablement and lead strategic initiatives that strengthen AWS expertise across Pax8 • Operate within a structured sales environment, supporting pipeline visibility, forecasting, and opportunity growth

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience working across AWS environments with strong technical (AWS Certification) and commercial awareness
  • Account management experience including contract negotiations and program creation
  • Working knowledge and experience in the AWS console with AWS Services (Organizations, Billing, IAM, Partner Central)
  • Demonstrated ability to guide partners through cloud adoption and maturity journeys
  • Strong understanding of AWS account structures and partner profitability models
  • Familiarity with AWS programs (Distribution, SPP), funding mechanisms (Well Architected, Startup, MAP), and common industry use cases (MSP, ISV, SMB)
  • Experience supporting partner-led go-to-market strategies and enablement initiatives
  • Confidence communicating complex concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to balance technical depth with revenue-driven outcomes
  • Experience working in structured sales environments with pipeline and forecast accountability
