Job Description
eCommerce Growth Lead, Shopify
Oowlish
• The growth strategy for each of our Shopify clients: auditing performance, identifying friction points, and building a roadmap of improvements that move the needle. • CRO across the full funnel: from landing pages and product pages to checkout flows, you'll design and run tests, analyze results, and translate data into clear next actions. • Day-to-day client relationships: regular check-ins, roadmap reviews, and proactive communication that keep clients informed and confident. • Coordination with our Shopify developers, and with external specialists in SEO, paid media, and CRM when the work calls for it. • Delivery oversight for the dev team, making sure they have the right context and priorities at all times. • Collaboration with our marketing and sales team on content, case studies, and pitch materials to help bring in new clients. • Input into how the practice evolves: what we should offer, what types of clients we should go after, and what makes Oowlish different in this space.
Job Requirements
- Extensive eCommerce experience, with a strong track record of improving store performance through CRO, funnel optimization, and data-driven decision making.
- Deep familiarity with Shopify or Shopify Plus: you understand the platform well enough to have a real strategic conversation with both clients and developers.
- A consultative mindset: you come to client conversations with a point of view, not just an open agenda.
- Strong communicator in English, written and verbal. You're comfortable presenting recommendations, pushing back when needed, and building trust over time.
- Analytical: you're comfortable in Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar tools, and you know how to turn data into a story and a plan.
- Autonomous and organized: you own outcomes, manage your own priorities, and don't need to be told what to do next.
Benefits
- Strategic Impact: Redefine how software is built.
- Innovation Hub: A collaborative environment where your vision directly shapes our competitive edge in the market.
- Comprehensive Package: Competitive salary, stock options, and premium benefits.
