Marketing & Communication Lead
Base.com
• Drafting, localizing, and distributing strategic press releases for Italian media outlets. • Ideation and dissemination of communication campaigns to highlight strategic agreements and new integrations in Italy. • Managing PR and marketing relationships with Italian commercial partners for the organization and promotion of joint activities. • Strategic and operational management of LinkedIn Italy and assessment/management of other relevant channels. • Monitoring, managing, and nurturing Base.com's brand image and user reviews across partner platforms. • Definition and management of the Italian editorial plan. • Adaptation of Base.com's global tone of voice, messaging, and marketing materials to ensure effectiveness in the Italian market. • Technical and operational management of email marketing campaigns. • Operational, logistical, and communication coordination of Base.com Italy's participation in trade shows, conferences, and workshops. • Content creation and strategy to maximize impact and lead generation stemming from event participation. • Main point of contact and workflow management with any external agencies/consultants. • Management and technical coordination of external freelancers for the production of Italian marketing materials. • Coordination of Italian colleagues to align personal communication on LinkedIn and amplify the brand voice. • Constant monitoring and monthly reporting of main marketing KPIs for the Italian market.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in marketing, digital communication, or PR roles.
- Previous experience in the SaaS, e-commerce, or tech industry is highly preferred.
- Highly proactive, hands-on approach, and resourceful.
- Strong self-management skills and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment independently.
- A genuine desire to learn, grow, and build the role from the ground up, taking true ownership of the Italian marketing operations.
