Workday Financials Solution Architect
Meridian Partners
• Own end-to-end functional solution architecture across one or more Workday Financials workstreams • Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into cohesive, scalable Workday designs • Lead architecture and design workshops, guiding clients toward supportable solutions grounded in Workday best practices • Anticipate cross-module dependencies and downstream impacts • Serve as the functional authority and escalation point when the hard calls need to be made • Validate that every solution is configurable, auditable, and sustainable
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of Workday Financials or enterprise ERP implementation experience, with at least 5 of those years in Workday delivery
- Deep functional expertise in one or more Workday Financials domains: FDM, Financial Accounting, Grants, Procurement, Financial Reporting
- Meaningful public sector implementation experience — state and local government, K–12, or federal
- A demonstrated track record of designing complex solutions, leading delivery teams, and presenting confidently to executives who ask hard questions
- Active Workday Implementer Certifications — a minimum of two, with Record to Report required. Additional certifications across others are a strong plus.

This typically averages out to once a month over the course of the year.
