• Support the company’s global accounting function through US GAAP/IFRS application • Research and document accounting conclusions for complex/non-routine transactions • Prepare technical accounting memos • Monitor and assess impact of new accounting standards • Ensure consistency of accounting policies across global entities • Assist in preparation and review of consolidated financial reporting • Partner with Tax and external advisors on transfer pricing • Review non-standard contracts and advise on accounting implications • Support external audit process through preparation of technical documentation • Maintain robust documentation supporting accounting positions

• Prepare and review annual financial statements for a diverse client portfolio • Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals • Prepare and review GST, PAYE, FBT, and other New Zealand tax filings • Ensure compliance with New Zealand accounting standards and tax legislation • Complete year-end adjustments, journals, and reconciliations • Act as a primary point of contact for clients • Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships • Provide proactive accounting, taxation, and business advice • Assist clients with financial management, compliance obligations, and business planning • Identify opportunities to improve client outcomes and business performance • Manage and maintain client accounting records using Xero • Review bookkeeping accuracy and support client system improvements • Assist with onboarding new clients and cloud accounting implementations • Support process improvements and workflow efficiencies across the firm • Review work completed by junior and intermediate accountants • Provide technical guidance and mentoring where required • Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within deadlines • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the practice
