Role Description The Staff Accountant is responsible for billing, maintaining general ledger accounts, and managing accounting receivable companies across PLTFRM. - Recording weekly treasury transactions as assigned - Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements - Performing monthly billing procedures - Review transactions for accuracy - Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies - Identify past-due accounts receivable and contact delinquent customers - Record customer payments and transactions accurately - Assist with gathering support for the annual audit - Assist with payroll management (i.e. payroll processing, setting up new employees and state withholding accounts) - Inbox management Qualifications - A degree in Accounting - At least 1-2 years of overall accounting experience - At least 1 year of service business operational accounting experience - Ability to collaborate with a team - Comfortable in a high-growth environment - Strong understanding of services businesses - A passion for leveraging systems and driving process improvements - Experience with full close-cycle accounting - Experience in QBO and related software tools - Strong working knowledge of Excel - High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Requirements - Home/Office environment; utilization of standard work equipment - Minimal travel Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision - Unlimited PTO - 4% matching 401K - 10% annual bonus incentive Company Description PLTFRM owns a portfolio of retail sales agencies that help the most disruptive D2C brands drive sales at retail.
