What You Will Achieve In this role, you will: - Serve as the People Experience (PX) Lead for the PGS Melbourne manufacturing site, acting as a trusted advisor to the site leadership team on people strategy, workforce matters, and organisational priorities - Partner closely with site leaders to align people initiatives with manufacturing, operational, and business goals in a complex and highly regulated environment - Lead and manage employee and industrial relations matters, including advising on the interpretation and application of multiple enterprise agreements and associated employment obligations, investigations, performance matters, and disciplinary processes - Support leaders in building a positive, compliant, and high-performing site culture, balancing business needs with colleague experience and legislative requirements - Coach and enable people leaders on core PX practices, including talent, performance, development, engagement, and organisational effectiveness - Partner with centres of excellence and broader PX teams to deliver recruitment, workforce planning, learning, compensation, and change initiatives for the site - Contribute to site-wide change, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring people impacts are effectively managed - Use data and insights to identify workforce trends, recommend interventions, and support decision-making across the site leadership team - Monitor and interpret changes in employment and industrial legislation, ensuring site practices remain compliant and fit for purpose Here Is What You Need (Preferred Requirements) - Demonstrated experience in a senior HR or PX partnering role, ideally supporting a site leadership team within a complex manufacturing organisation, preferably with experience working in a multinational organisation - Strong business acumen and the ability to translate people strategy into practical outcomes in an operational setting - Excellent consulting, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly with leaders and colleagues - Experience in change management and organisational transformation - Demonstrated experience managing employee relations and industrial relations matters, including working with multiple enterprise agreements and unionised environments - Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial frameworks, and risk management practices - Ability to coach leaders through complex and sensitive people matters with sound judgment and pragmatism - Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity.
