Associate Director, AVEVA System

Nagarro

• Design and develop scalable AVEVA System Platform solutions for discrete manufacturing environments. • Build and maintain object-oriented models, templates, and digital twins for manufacturing assets and production lines. • Configure and implement AVEVA MES solutions to monitor OEE, production performance, cycle times, and operational efficiency. • Design and deploy AVEVA OMI visualization screens, dashboards, and Andon systems for real-time shop-floor monitoring. • Configure and manage AVEVA Historian for high-speed manufacturing data collection, storage, and analysis. • Integrate production systems, PLCs, SCADA platforms, MES applications, and ERP systems to enable seamless data exchange. • Develop and support production order synchronization, inventory tracking, and manufacturing execution workflows. • Define and govern standards for AVEVA graphics, object libraries, deployment strategies, and application architecture. • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, downtime causes, micro-stops, and process improvement opportunities. • Collaborate with production managers, maintenance teams, automation engineers, and business stakeholders to optimize manufacturing performance. • Ensure solution scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability across manufacturing sites. • Provide technical mentoring, troubleshooting support, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Job Requirements

  • Total experience 13+ years.
  • Strong experience in AVEVA System Platform architecture, configuration, development, and administration.
  • Hands-on expertise in AVEVA System Platform object modeling, templates, deployment, and application development.
  • Strong experience with AVEVA MES Performance and Operations for manufacturing execution and OEE monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience in AVEVA OMI visualization, dashboards, Andon systems, and operational displays.
  • Strong experience with AVEVA Historian configuration, data collection, and production analyticsi.
  • Experience integrating shop-floor systems, PLCs, SCADA, MES, and ERP platforms within manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes including Automotive, Packaging, OEM, Machine Building, and Assembly operations.
  • Hands-on experience in digital twin implementation for production assets such as Robots, CNC Machines, Conveyors, and Assembly Stations.
  • Strong SQL knowledge for transactional production data, work orders, production tracking, and manufacturing reporting.
  • Experience with OT/IT integration, production order synchronization, inventory consumption tracking, and manufacturing data flows.
  • Strong understanding of OEE, cycle time optimization, takt time, micro-stop analysis, downtime management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience establishing standards for AVEVA graphics, object templates, and reusable manufacturing frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.
  • Experience working in MES Engineer, Industrial Automation Engineer, Manufacturing Systems Engineer, or Solution Architect roles.
