Senior Software Architect, Oracle Fusion
Taylor Corporation
• Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements and identify and resolve system issues • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Fusion and additional systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives • Translate business requirements into scalable, supportable, and secure Oracle solution designs • Define and maintain architecture patterns and reference architectures for integrations, extensions, and data flows • Conduct discovery and design workshops with key teams to define and document future-state processes • Review design documents to ensure alignment with architecture and business objectives • Collaborate with technical solution partner owners, business, and functional leaders on system integration needs to present solutions to stakeholders • Architect and oversee integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST and SOAP APIs, and event-driven patterns • Design and govern extensions using VBCS, APEX, and ATP databases where appropriate • Ensure reliable end-to-end data flows between Oracle Fusion and downstream/upstream enterprise systems • Review solution designs and technical deliverables to ensure compliance with architecture standards, security requirements, and best practices • Participate in and influence Architecture Review Board (ARB) decisions, providing clear guidance and risk assessment • Identify and mitigate architectural risks early in the lifecycle • Partner with functional leads (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales) to align Oracle solutions to business processes • Collaborate with Oracle implementation partners, third-party vendors, and internal delivery teams • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers, integration engineers, and application specialists • Support complex deployments, data conversions, and phased cutovers during Oracle Fusion implementations • Drive system performance, scalability, and reliability improvements post go-live • Continuously improve architecture practices based on lessons learned and evolving business strategy
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years in an Oracle Architect role with significant hands-on solution design responsibility
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion ERP implementations or major upgrades
- Strong understanding of SOAP and REST APIs for integrating third-party systems
- Experience with various technologies related to and extending Oracle Fusion (Oracle Integration Cloud, ATP databases, VBCS and APEX applications)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proven experience in managing and successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
