At that time, the role will become directly aligned to the Diamond Infrastructure Solutions Company. * About You and This Role Diamond Infrastructure Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Manager within the new and exciting Vanguard Team at or near one of Diamond’s US Gulf Coast locations in Texas or Louisiana. The Vanguard Team is aligned to the Business Development function and is chartered to accelerate business growth through focused, high-impact initiatives. The Team’s mission is to deliver measurable growth, cost savings, and operational efficiency by prioritizing quick wins and near-term opportunities. As a core team member of Vanguard, you will act as a focal point between Diamond’s Business Development group, the functional Tech Centers, and the associated operational and commercial leaders and teams at Diamond’s sites. This role provides a unique opportunity to directly influence Diamond’s growth and bottom line by leading the development of new value and cost-savings opportunities, and by participating in defining the strategy for the Vanguard Team. The Vanguard Portfolio Manager drives business growth by leading cross-functional projects focused on revenue, cost savings, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include identifying opportunities, developing data-driven cases, and managing prioritized initiatives. The role requires solid financial acumen, strategic thinking, effective execution, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and teams. Strong influential leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for upholding a culture of integrity, safety, inclusion, and innovation. Responsibilities Lead and support multiple initiative sub-teams to deliver project results, ensuring adherence to work processes and smooth transitions to execution teams. Identify and prioritize strategic initiatives and business opportunities in collaboration with site operations, support functions, and external partners. Develop clear, data-driven business cases, including financial models, ROI/IRR, and value realization plans. Lead and oversee end-to-end execution of approved initiatives with the appropriate execution teams, from planning through implementation and benefits realization. Apply strong project management discipline to manage scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations. Provide effective communication and coordination between the project teams and key stakeholders. Provides regular updates on scope, objectives/goals, cost, progress vs. plan and risks. Support prioritization of initiatives based on strategic alignment, value potential, speed to impact, and resource requirements. Support maintenance of the overall opportunity repository Required Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking. A minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in projects, improvement, plant or business operations. A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a commercial setting supporting project or business development. Prior experience in the project development of complex projects, often leading simultaneous development of several projects. Experience in site functions such as Energy, Environmental Operations, Site Logistics, EH&S&S, Site Infrastructure, and Maintenance. Familiarity / experience with the structure, language, and/or administration of contracts (transactional, services-related, etc.). Ability to easily connect with different levels and functions at the customer level and internally. Ability to articulate and differentiate appropriate offerings and value propositions that combine technical aptitude with commercial ability. Ability to translate opportunities to a concrete strategy in line with business strategy, obtain internal stakeholder buy-in, and successfully negotiate a win-win with the prospective customer. Expertise (proficiency and experience) in the management, manipulation, analysis, and consolidation of large data sets in Excel. An ability to manage a high and diverse workload and the ability to respond quickly to changing schedules, particularly in support of growth project activities. Your Skills Financial acumen: gained through direct experience including understanding concepts such as revenue, margin, fixed and variable costs, depreciation, and activity-based cost recovery. An ability to use SAP and DSR to collect and investigate the historical service costs and consumption. Proficient in the management, manipulation, analysis, and consolidation of large data sets in Excel. Independent Thinking: Ability to operate independently and collaboratively to manage a high and diverse workload.  Ability to respond quickly to changing schedules. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Business Relationship Management: An ability to form professional and respectful relationships with employees across many functions and geographies.
