Key Account Manager, OE Sales

• Manage and develop relationships with the German OE account across all levels (purchasing, quality, supply chain, marketing, and executive management). • Lead quotation processes, price negotiations, and product presentations for OE customers. • Coordinate all information related to ongoing and new projects between internal and external stakeholders. • Ensure achievement of budget targets, product availability, and customer service levels, including corrective actions when needed. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to support strategic decision-making. • Deliver accurate monthly reporting on sales, forecasts, and market share performance. • Drive effective communication and information flow across all involved internal teams and global counterparts. • Identify new business opportunities and inform management for further evaluation and action. • Analyze vehicle/platform programs and anticipate future customer needs, including sustainability and technology trends (e.g., RFID). • Act as European coordination lead for global account activities, ensuring alignment across regions and maximizing OE end-to-end business opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable role within the automotive industry.
  • Proven experience in Original Equipment (OE) business is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of automotive industry dynamics, OE processes, and market environment.
  • Solid skills in account management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Good knowledge of supply chain, product lifecycle management, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). German is considered a strong advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • High level of self-management and organizational skills.
  • Results-driven with a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently.
