Role Description An International fast growing Independent Power Producer is looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in Wind engineering and design. The company specializes in the initiation, development, financing, construction, management, and operation of projects involving the generation of electricity from renewable energy sources (Wind, Solar, Battery Energy Storage). The position may involve a wide variety of diverse assignments including: - Project Engineering Management of external and internal stakeholders/consultants/engineering company. - Managing and leading RE power plants design criteria for optimization, cost reduction and performance improvement. - Responsible for engineering support of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) projects. - Perform solar resource assessments and energy production estimates with PVsyst and other optimization tools. - Support, from a technical point of view, the procurement phase (request for proposal, contract negotiation, qualification) with OEM, suppliers and BoP/EPC Contractors. - Support in the assessment of new opportunities for investment with internal feasibility analysis or with external technical advisors. - Collaborate closely with the company business units throughout the project cycle – Business Development, Project Development, Execution. - The position will also include exposure to other renewable technologies (such as green Hydrogen). Qualifications - Previous Renewable Energy experience. - Previous WTG experience. - Technical Project Management experience – Advantage. - Experience in the technical contractual phase for renewable energy Plants. - Familiarity with Project Development is preferable. - Experience in high voltage connections and sub-stations design – Significant advantage. - Software: WindPro (Advantage), PVsyst, Autocad, Microsoft Office suite, Word and Excel. - Strong writing and presentation skills. - Pro-active approach, structured way of working, capacity of managing and integration processes. - Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly through formal reports, presentations, teleconferences, memoranda and email. - Must be able to function equally well in fast-paced, collaborative, multi-disciplined teams, and self-directed independent assignments. - Must be self-motivated, with an ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously. Requirements - Requires a degree in electrical engineering. - 5 years related work experience. Professionals with less experience may be considered if the profile meets some of the requirements. • Configure, deploy, and support end-user devices (laptops, desktops, printers, handheld scanners) • Build and maintain a standard catalogue of approved EUC hardware • Gather and validate device requirements with stakeholders across sites • Provide input on device standards, configurations, and deployment plans • Support on-site setup, testing, go-live, and early life support (including travel when needed) • Ensure partner devices (e.g. SI and BI teams) are correctly configured and secure • Troubleshoot issues during deployment to minimise disruption • Produce clear documentation and handover to support teams • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and D365 teams to meet performance and compliance standards
