Job Description

Technical Project Manager

Loft Labs

• Project Leadership: Own the delivery lifecycle of complex technical initiatives. You will practice holistic ownership, connecting daily engineering actions to our broader 2026 company goals and ensuring value is delivered, not just tasks checked off. • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary translation layer between engineers, architects, and business stakeholders. You will actively seek clarification to ensure understanding and define clear project scopes that drive long-term success. • Proactive Risk Management: Anticipate future trends and roadblocks. You will identify dependencies and risks early, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the team remains reliable. • Workflow Optimization: Champion continuous improvement by leveraging feedback as an upgrade path. You will use data and analytics to refine our development processes, ensuring we remain agile and efficient as we scale. • Execution & Communication: Facilitate clear, active listening and communication across the organization. You will manage daily execution via Kanban to minimize the burden on leaders and keep the team focused on high-impact work.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: You have 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in a successful startup where you played a pivotal role or within a cloud-native/DevOps environment.
  • Technical Fluency: You possess a strong understanding of our industry dynamics. You are familiar with Kubernetes architecture, containerization (Docker, Helm), and DevOps principles (CI/CD, Terraform), allowing you to speak with authority to the products we build.
  • Tooling Mastery: You have "must-have" experience managing workflows using modern project tracking tools, specifically Linear, and can organize complex Kanban boards effectively.
  • Results Orientation: You are metrics driven. You have a proven track record of delivering results and effectively prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative Leadership: You thrive in an Idea Meritocracy, creating space for the best solutions to surface regardless of origin. You are adaptable to different work styles and capable of leading cross-functional teams without relying solely on formal authority.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: We offer a competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Platinum-Level Insurance: Health, dental, vision, and life Insurance, including plans for you and eligible dependents (benefits vary depending on country).
  • Flexible Working Schedule: You have a doctor’s appointment or need to head to the supermarket to get groceries at 2pm? We won’t have an issue with that. To us, results matter more than clocking in and out at the same time every day.
  • Workplace Flexibility: We’re very flexible about where you work. We know things can change in life and we’re happy to adjust the work environment for you along the way.
