Programmatic Platforms Manager

Wurl

• Own the activation and execution of CTV programmatic demand across our ad server, proprietary tech platforms, and integrated SSP/DSP platforms. • Create, configure, launch, and manage Open Market, Private Marketplace (PMP), Programmatic Guaranteed (PG), and Managed Service transactions. • Support inventory approvals, curation, and targeting implementation aligned with active buyer campaigns and revenue objectives. • Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, performance, and inventory utilization to ensure successful execution. • Conduct quality assurance and troubleshooting across campaign lifecycles. • Execute pricing, floor, and yield adjustments to maximize both delivery and monetization performance. • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth activation and operational excellence across programmatic workflows. • Serve as a subject matter expert on CTV programmatic activation and inventory monetization. • Apply a strong understanding of OpenRTB, bidstream mechanics, auction dynamics, and programmatic workflows. • Manage and troubleshoot deal delivery, targeting, reporting, and platform configuration issues. • Leverage knowledge of ads.txt, app-ads.txt, supply path optimization (SPO), and inventory access controls to improve marketplace performance. • Understand SSP and DSP platform functionality and how platform settings impact campaign activation, buyer access, and revenue outcomes. • Analyze performance trends and identify opportunities to improve fill rates, win rates, CPMs, and overall platform efficiency. • Assist in testing new platform features, integrations, and marketplace initiatives. • Serve as a technical resource supporting Sales, Account Management, and Demand teams. • Collaborate with SSPs, DSPs, agencies, and demand partners to troubleshoot issues and drive revenue. • Support partner onboarding, integration efforts, and marketplace expansion initiatives. • Help translate customer and partner requirements into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering teams. • Provide operational insights and recommendations that improve partner performance and overall monetization outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in Programmatic Advertising, Ad Operations, Campaign Management, or related AdTech roles.
  • Experience working within the programmatic ecosystem, preferably in CTV, video, streaming, publisher, SSP, DSP, exchange, or ad server environments.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising fundamentals, including OpenRTB, auctions, bid requests, targeting, and deal structures.
  • Hands-on experience working within SSPs, DSPs, ad servers, or programmatic activation platforms.
  • Experience activating, managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting programmatic campaigns and marketplace deals.
  • Familiarity with ads.txt, app-ads.txt, supply path optimization (SPO), identity solutions, and broader programmatic infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and commercial teams.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is eager to learn and expand their AdTech expertise.

This role will support and embed Superior Plus Propane’s vision, mission, values and goals by ensuring that all business and people practices, policies and processes are applied consistently in support of excellent customer service and ease of doing business. - Champion a strong safety culture in all aspects of bulk delivery and ensure team members receive the appropriate training to support safe and compliant logistics operations. - Collaborate with Bulk Logistics leadership, Regional General Managers, Area Operations Managers, District Managers, and field operations to gather insights and implement strategic improvements that enhance customer satisfaction and optimize the overall customer experience. - Oversee and manage the day‑to‑day activities of the Bulk Logistics Coordinators, ensuring effective workflow, service excellence, and operational efficiency. - Actively participate as a contributing member of the Regional Management Team. - Identify and resolve issues that impact customer service, ensuring timely and effective solutions. - Support the recruitment, training, development, and retention of direct reports. - Stay informed of industry trends and recommend proactive strategies and responses to maintain operational competitiveness. - Monitor and evaluate team and individual performance against key performance indicators, including asset and resource utilization, overtime management, and customer service standards. - Conduct performance reviews, lead succession planning efforts, and foster strong employee engagement within the team. - Serve as an escalation point, removing obstacles for Logistics Coordinators and promoting a collaborative, solutions‑focused team environment. - Use data and analytics to drive operational efficiency and route optimization. - Champion continuous improvement practices and operational standardization. - Ensure effective use of Logistics technologies and tools. Qualifications - A minimum of five (5) years of operational management, preferably in an energy related environment. - Post secondary education; training in logistics is an asset. - Practical, hands-on leader with experience in technical operations and logistics. - A proven track record in effective people management. - Guided by business objectives and good management practices and possess a strong customer service focus. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. - Demonstrated project and functional leadership abilities. - Able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally. - Strong strategic thinking, decision making, analytical, judgement, and problem-solving skills. - Exhibit strong change-management capabilities. - Able to work independently and within a North American team, exhibiting a high degree of initiative, enthusiasm, and logical thinking. - Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Access, and Outlook. - Legal Authorization to work in the US is required.
