Role Description Our client is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Outbound Outreach Specialist to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and relationship-building. Prior HVAC industry experience is required, as this role involves engaging HVAC contractors, distributors, service providers, and industry decision-makers through targeted outbound outreach and lead generation efforts. This is a performance-driven role focused on identifying potential customers, starting conversations, qualifying opportunities, and booking meetings for the sales team. You’ll be responsible for building outbound campaigns across email, cold calls, LinkedIn, and multi-channel outreach while working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive qualified pipeline growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outbound sales, understands B2B prospecting, and thrives in fast-paced, target-driven environments. What You’ll Do - Prospecting & Lead Research: - Research companies, decision-makers, and target accounts using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, Crunchbase, or similar platforms - Build targeted prospect lists aligned with Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) - Identify pain points, industry trends, and personalization opportunities before outreach - Maintain organized lead lists and outbound workflows - Outbound Outreach & Lead Generation: - Execute outbound outreach across email, cold calling, LinkedIn, and other channels - Conduct 60–100 daily outbound touchpoints across multiple channels - Make 30–40 cold calls per day using structured outreach and objection-handling frameworks - Personalize outreach messaging based on prospect industry, role, and business needs - Build and maintain outbound cadences and follow-up sequences - Generate qualified conversations and book meetings for Account Executives or leadership - Campaign Management & Optimization: - Build and test multi-touch outbound campaigns and sequences - A/B test subject lines, CTAs, messaging angles, and call scripts - Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize outreach strategies - Improve reply rates, booked meetings, and conversion performance through testing and iteration - CRM & Pipeline Management: - Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar systems - Log activities, conversations, notes, and pipeline updates consistently - Keep lead stages, statuses, and follow-ups organized and updated - Ensure strong CRM hygiene and organized pipeline tracking - Collaboration & Communication: - Work closely with Account Executives and sales leadership on qualified handoffs - Collaborate with marketing teams on messaging feedback and lead quality - Share insights from prospect conversations to improve outreach performance and positioning - Support broader outbound growth initiatives as needed What Makes You a Great Fit - Highly motivated by targets, goals, and measurable performance - Strong communicator across phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach - Resilient and comfortable handling rejection consistently - Organized and process-oriented with strong follow-through - Curious and proactive in researching prospects and industries - Competitive, coachable, and focused on continuous improvement Required Experience & Skills - 1–2 years of SDR, BDR, outbound sales, or lead generation experience - Previous experience in the HVAC industry is required - Strong understanding of HVAC services, contractors, distributors, manufacturers, or related markets - Experience using outbound tools such as Outreach.io, SalesLoft, Apollo, or HubSpot Sequences - Experience making cold calls and running outbound outreach campaigns - Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho - Strong written and verbal English communication skills - Ability to personalize messaging and conduct professional prospect outreach - Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup What a Typical Day Looks Like - Research target accounts and build prospect lists - Launch outbound email and LinkedIn sequences - Make cold calls and conduct follow-up outreach - Personalize messaging based on prospect pain points and industry - Book qualified meetings and hand off opportunities to the sales team - Update CRM records and pipeline stages - Analyze outreach performance and optimize messaging - Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve conversion performance Key Metrics for Success (KPIs) - 60–100 outbound touchpoints daily - 15–20 meaningful prospect conversations weekly - Qualified meetings booked monthly - Outbound reply and conversion rates - CRM accuracy and pipeline organization - Consistent outbound activity and follow-through Interview Process - Initial Phone Screen - Video Interview with Pavago Recruiter - Practical Task (Outbound Messaging or Email Sequence Exercise) - Client Interview - Offer & Background Verification
